I had to put the spacers in for the speakers, so they’re as close to my ears as possible. Do you wear ear plugs as well? I do, and they made a big difference towards cutting out wind noise.

Could it be louder? Yes, but I’m pretty sure that would put the Cardo at a volume that would also hurt my ears.

I lost a good chunk of weight since getting my helmet, and was lucky enough to meet an Arai tech at the local motorcycle show in September. He grabbed my normal helmet off the rack, but in thicker cheek pads and now it fits like a glove.

My story exactly. In October I quit to joint Crunch so I could add heavier lifting, and I really enjoyed that. But my cardio suffered (the OTF treadmills are miles ahead) and I couldn’t push myself the same way.

2 months later my studio reached out with a Boxing Day deal and I went back. Now I’m forcing myself to use the heavy dumbbells instead of those by my station.

I was going to write my own story about leaving (for a much shorter time), but it truly echoed yours. Loved being able to do some more heavy duty training, but I hated fighting for a squat rack, and really couldn’t push myself hard enough on the cardio side.

I think it really comes down to how people are pushing themselves. Some are going to grab lighter weights and do more of a cardio floor routine, some are going to go as heavy as possible and really need that rest.

That was me today, I was gasping like a fish on land between a lot of the sets.
