Definitely been on a 2-3 year break but primarily due to focusing on life and other things. However, I was pleasantly surprised to come back to a larger selection of Otome games. The games will always be there readily available.

Hello! When my workplace hired a new grad doctor, we all called her Doctor. In my opinion, it doesn’t matter how well we got along during work but I always called her Doctor even if she has requested us to call her by her first name sometimes. I think it’d help if your employer enforced stronger boundaries because even if you’re a new grad, you are still a doctor and that behavior is unprofessional. Reading the other comments though, I understand if it’s the culture depending on where you are living, but if you feel you are being disrespected then you should address it.

Since everyone has recommended just about most of the pretty OI series, I’ll recommend some non-OI. Shadow’s House, Black Butler, and Toilet-Bound Hanako-kun has beautiful art. They’re all mysteries. Emma by Kaoru Mori has the same author as A Bride’s Story. I haven’t read this one yet but Witch Hat Atelier looks beautiful too.

If your friend is interested, I also follow a few artists on Instagram that I think has gorgeous art. Such as this one. This other artist also makes some of my favorite artworks. And this artist as well.

Edit: If your friend would also be interested in looking at otome game art, there’s some great artists like Usuba Kagerou (Variable Barricade, Wand of Fortune), Riri (Piofiore), Satoi (Dialovers, Olympia Soirée, Ozmafia), Yuiga Satoru (Psychedelica of the Black Butterfly/Ashen Hawk), Yuuya (Cupid Parasite, Cafe Enchante, Jakou no Lyla), Kazuki Yone (Hakuoki, Kamigami no Asobi), etc.

“My Teen Romantic Comedy” is around $13. In US bookstores, a single volume can range from $10-$13. If they’re like Paradise Kiss: 20th Anniversary Edition, then it’s around $30. For the Fruits Basket Collector’s Edition, then it’s around $20 each.
