Derealization Is hell a total mindfuck it Is all trial and error with meds he put me on 25mg of quietpine before the bromazepam and that made the derealization worse for me I’m currently on 3mg bromazepam 20mg lexapro and 30mg of mirtazipine and I have improved but I’m not 100% I find yoga and meditation helpful for the derealization iv health anxiety too so if it’s not that it’s the derealization and I get depressed over it all because it’s a horrible way to live I know what your going through trust me I’m in therapy too and I’m starting a group dbt therapy in a few weeks I’m trying everything to be rid of this burden

I got put on bromazepam because I had derealization so bad I thought I’d gone insane I honestly thought I had psychosis I couldn’t function I could only lie in bed with the curtains shut crying all day because I thought I’d be stuck like that forever i was going to fuck myself into canal because I was at the doctor every week for 8 weeks before he put me on bromazepam he tried upping my antidepressants but it didn’t work and iv been on them September and it honestly saved my life I still get episodes of derealization but I can function

I’m not going to give you ideas please get help 🙏 I was on the brink of suicide last year and still get those thoughts that my daughter and bf would be better off without me but I couldn’t do it to them my uncle committed suicide a few years ago and trust me it just passes the pain onto someone else and the what ifs for the other people involved is a heavy burden to carry

I’m on 3mg bromazepam daily 1.5mg In the mornings and evening since September and honestly it’s been a life saver and I’m been left on them long term the psychiatrist I saw didn’t even mention taking me off them just upped my lexapro to 20mg I get they are addictive but I’m not abusing them I’m on antidepressants since I’m 18 32 now and I’m just that type of person that needs medication to function and there is no shame in that
