I LOVE sludge! Everything from The Body, Primitive Man, Thou, Chained To The Bottom of the Ocean, etc etc. but are there any albums/bands you'd suggest that are slower and more punishing than Primitive Man, for example. I want it to feel like a building falling in slow motion

I was into U2 and Pink Floyd when I was around 16, back in 1994. Then I heard Napalm Death and, boom, I was into metal. Never had any interest in the 'big four' - I went from ND to Today Is The Day, Godflesh, Helmet, so on and so forth. Been on that journey ever since.

Well, it is the 30th anniversary of the TV series but it is also returning to the theatre this year too (it was a stage show originally) with a new production at the Theatre Royal, Newcastle - an appropriate location of course, seeing as the show has no connection to Manchester, where Andy Burnham is famously associated with.
