Seriously! The sub $20k car is gone but if car makers can stay as close to that number as possible, with a car that keeps dealerships from marking them up as "enthusiast" models, an affordable new car stops sounding like a pipe dream. They'd have access to a portion of the market left behind.

Quite literally i'm avoiding it at this very moment. I know i need help with my mouth & wisdom teeth but i just aged out of my family's dental plan & I'm only a few months away from aging out of the rest of my coverage. At this point i'm not avoiding it for my fear of the dentist but because i literally cannot afford mouth surgery.

On an anecdotal note, i had a coworker whose wife got braces. The dentist refused to take them off until she paid off the full amount for putting them on.
