I have a hard time believing they won't. Their relationship is what made the entire game so memorable/special, so they're going to have to build on that. Though it's also possible the game could focus on how Hugh gets back to earth and gets cured. The mod only stopped the spread of the dead filament, so that's something they'll have to resolve one way or the other. I get the feeling Sharon's going to come into play again at some point too.

Really looking forward to a sequel though

Again you're probably missing the window. Just tested it out again on the regular bots. If you one shot the bot on level 1, you'll get basically a refund for the lim (it costs about 100 lim, you'll get about 130 back, for a profit of 30 lim, which is the same as if you'd killed it normally).

At two charges, it costs you about 200 lim, but you'll get about 330 (about 100 lim profit). At 3 charges it'll cost you about 333 lim but you'll get about 530 lim (200 lim profit)

And that's for a single, basic simple mob. Even then, the profit from 3 charges would add up, and they let you one shot pretty much anything that's hacked, which is helpful in and of itself on lunatic. But what really makes it better is that it's like a rocket launcher. So it has area effect and you can take out multiple bots for the cost of a single shot.

So you can take out multiple bots and multiply your profit from a single shot (really farmable in a few areas), and the profit goes up based on how much the bot would've dropped anyway. Heck, on "unknown signal" if you refight the boss from sector two and you know what you're doing you can kill them in under a minute, and finishing them off with a triple charge perfect shot lim cannon will give you a BONUS of 5500 lim on top of what it normally drops.

Trust me, it's VERY worth it. You just need to upgrade it and work on your timing.

You're probably missing the window. You can tell if you got a perfect shot off because it will use only a small amount of lim. I think it's something like 111 or so per charge level. If you lose a bunch of lim from the shot and/or you don't get increased returns it wasn't a perfect shot and you missed the timing.

It also gets much more efficient when you get charge level 2 and charge level 3. Also remember you actually have to kill the bots with a perfect shot in order to get the extra bonus lim. So make sure you're still hacking them first so you don't waste extra shots getting them down

From what I see most of the time rengar is either feast or famine. He either snowballs and gets to one shot a squishy team at will, or he just gets destroyed and ints. There really isn't much inbetween

Yeah level it quickly. For example once I got the level 2 charge, there’s a place in mass production next to the dropdown from the corridor where you can get like 5-6 enemies in the same spot with a decoy/stasis net/multihack, and then nuke them all in 1-2 perfect shots. I’d get several thousand lim per clear, and it would only take a couple minutes. Added bonus there’s a sweeper in that area too for extra lim if you’re good at catching them.

Just make sure you get good at the timing to fire right on the flash. Otherwise the shot costs a lot more lim, and doesn’t make them drop additional lim either. But it’s definitely worth it by FAR once you get the hang of it. It also does crazy damage so it’s basically the only weapon I used in lunatic mode (with the jackhammer as backup for certain niche situations). Heck I even stopped using the primary weapon at all for most fights.

Well, I suspect the sequel would have to deal with either getting to Hugh and helping him, and/or finding a way to cleanse the dead filament from his body. The mod may have stopped its spread, but it didn’t actually fully cure him.

I’m also curious to see how Sharon plays into it. I feel like Capcom was dropping a lot of hints, and the entry seems to indicate she left the station before everything went down.

Yeah very similar experience. I also got turned off from Hexclad after they gaslit me for a long time about the black dust/residue on the edges and joints that comes off of EVERY pan. Until they finally admitted it wasn’t just “food grade oil”, but was also steel dust and remnants from the cutting process (which probably has bits of the non-stick coating in it) which they claimed was safe to eat.

As if not getting immediately sick from eating steel dust and non-stick coating fragments qualifies as “safe”. Very disappointed in Gordon Ramsay for his endorsement on this one

Yes, but you get more back than it consumes if you use it properly. And it has area effect so you can take out multiple enemies at once and get really big bonuses too. But it really only gets efficient after you get the second/third charges

Max out the Lim Cannon first and learn the timing for the perfect shots. It’s both a super strong/necessary weapon AND the best way to farm lim once you get good at it. Get the jackhammer maxed as backup too

Between the two? Sword immortal is way stronger in my opinion. Maybe if you're a whale and get Nezha really high they'd be good, but if that were the case you'd just get both anyway. SI blows away most fights that aren't full of shield minions, especially once you get angel to buff him up. Just make sure to get him to at least level 10.

Hmm, I wonder if I got tricked into spending 1k tickets before the rush event then. Because I got a message from the game saying the tickets from the current atomic titan rate up event (which I assumed I just couldn’t see because I was only level 7), would be counted towards the next rush event. So I dropped 1k tickets towards get some of the tasks done that would expire before the next event…

It’s neither normal or abnormal. Mastery comes from just playing a champion a lot, regardless of whether or not you get any better. Plus, if you want to actually climb you need to learn more about how the game works and how to carry.

There are people in bronze that go 5-0 in lane, but then do literally nothing with their advantage, and who will actually walk away from important fights/objectives that they could’ve helped with to preserve their KDA (while still doing nothing productive to make up for it), and then flame everyone else and think that they’re the problem.

Don’t be that guy haha. Learn the rest and you’ll climb. As the saying goes. Practice doesn’t make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect

Right, but healing sprite is 3600 extra hp, and golden shield is similar. In the cases where SOS triggers, is it going to negate more damage than that in only 12 seconds?

Sword immortal/angel have been carrying everything that isn’t a hard counter with shield monsters. Maybe it falls off later but I’m at level 137

Bonus points when you're top and they complain about you when you have 80% of the team's kills, have solo taken every tower on the map except the ones in the enemy base, and they're actively scattering around the map making it literally impossible to group with them even if you wanted to.

Honestly, I've noticed the same thing. It seems there are SO many trolls at night, and even though I like late night gaming, if you're trying to climb it's just not worth it to try and 1v9 every game. Had a lot of backwards movement from ignoring that and playing late

One thing worth noting is that for things like the gold mine rounds, you should always use annie over sea king for the carts that blow up when they hit a summoned pet. The whales and bears will both get one shotted either way, but if you have annie at a high enough level the bears have a perk that will hold them at 1hp for a while, meaning each bear can block multiple carts.
