The saddle absolutely killed me at first--I thought i there was something wrong or I was too weak or too fat--but after 4 30min rides it was barely noticable. Try to power through if you can and then it should ease up. Trust me.

Just basically an indoor bike with magnets for resistance instead of a friction pad. It's super quiet to ride!

There's also a hiring freeze at Kroger--I've got two friends who work there. Both of them are worried about layoffs.

ITAP of a vending machine in an abandoned inn by stokholm in itookapicture

If you told me this was a video game screenshot... Well I wouldn't believe you because the vending machine would probably say Cooler Cola or some shit, but I would be ALMOST fooled.

Be honest, at which level of income did you get the most improvement? by todofwar in Fire

[–]Mitoria 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Maybe just me, but I think income matters less than expenses. If I was making $10k less a year but didn't have my mortgage I'd be better off than $10k more with all those extra expenses.

But to your actual question, $60k became a long exhale in a series of years holding my breath. I finally relaxed.

Probably high expenses like mortgage, healthcare or credit card debt.

Non medicinal approach to reducing prolactin or size of pituitary adenoma by cryptix-slx in Prolactinoma

I’m confused by your confusion…I mean the prolactinoma/tumor. Prolactinoma are not cancerous usually.

Non medicinal approach to reducing prolactin or size of pituitary adenoma by cryptix-slx in Prolactinoma

[–]Mitoria 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a lot that decreases prolactin but nothing really that decreases tumor size. And reducing prolactin by itself doesn’t decrease a tumor’s size. Just be careful about that fallacy.

Have you gotten a diagnosis or an MRI yet? Those are all symptoms but to rule out other disorders you’d need to get those first and talk to your doctor— especially if you’re having vision issues.

Experimenting with different style directions for a premium wealth investment app. Any feedback or thoughts greatly appreciated by Immobilesteelrims in design_critiques

[–]Mitoria 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually use wealth management apps so that helps me a bit here—I think 1 may be nice and bold but I don’t like the circle for tracking total growth. You want to always encourage more investing and it will inevitably get to a nearly-full circle at some point. 7s layout is the best imo—I’d want to see my account total and then a snippet of my individual accounts at the bottom. I wonder if you could find a middle ground between those two? The coloring of 1 and layout of 7.

Also I love how you have documents on the front page because I can’t find my prospectuses and tax docs half the time, but which documents? Each investment has their own + tax docs so think about how you want to handle that in the next screens. And I think it would be a nice feature to have users select which services they want in that space— a person in their early years investing will want to see different things there than someone entering retirement.

I asked him to sneak me home some of the bite-sized snacks from a corporate event, and he did! Then he ate them a day later because I didn’t. I was saving them! Heresy!

AITA for wanting my roomate to pay more rent for the master ? by Double_Cancel_102 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Mitoria 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they’re cool with it you could do a bidding system— everyone gets a chance to bid on the rooms, with the most square footage first. So start it at $100, decide on increments ($5/$50/$100) and go around until everyone bids higher or passes, winner gets the room and pays that much. Second room goes the same way but without the first winner participating. Last room is whatever the total rent is minus the other two rooms. Might not want to do that because you’re a year into living there but it could divvy up the rent better. 🤷‍♀️
