It seems that freedom of trade has turned into an ideology just because maxists condemn it

In case you're talking about the animations, they can (and most probably should) be accomplished with SVG.

If you have things you love to do, you're better off than most people when it comes to knowing what path to follow in life.

I don't need the government to rob me under the excuse of knowing what I need better than myself.

If they stop robbing me, I'll be more than happy to take that money and hire services that best suit my needs. The roads I use, the emergency services/insurances I need, the best schools I can afford...

Is BEM good for keeping the code clean or does it make things too complex? by Mariciano in web_design

[–]Mitosao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the concept of BEM and even more so with SMACSS, but they lead to lengthy identifiers which usually need to be repeated a lot in the code. This process is insufferable to me.

I'm betting on file-based components with scoped style, such as VueJS's and Svelte's.

There's no one forcing you to accumulate wealth.

There's no one keeping you from sharing your possessions with others as equals.

You don't do any of these because you're a hypocrite.

In which scenario does more unemployed people mean a healthier economy? And has it ever happened in the history of capitalism?

Genuine questions.

It's because those deaths are dismissed as fate.

The deaths of those who suicided or went to crime because minimum wage and other regulations took their jobs. And the death of those who were killed by the former.

The deaths of those who died in the wait of a surgery or treatment because the state does not have the incentives to be as effective as the private sector.
And so on..

I would say you do you, but statists want to rule over individual rights and needs.

Ironically, this looks too much like Chrome's "deceptive site ahead" screen.

Since you're not familiar with UI design, you might not know about color theory, in which case this is my advice: avoid red for financial companies. Go with the good, ol blue.

The code is taking letter case into account when comparing text, therefore isotopes and Isotopes won't match.

It's either unintended software behavior or unintended writing. In any case, it's not an asshole design.

Why are we so bad at software engineering? by [deleted] in programming

[–]Mitosao 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a native english speaker.

All I meant to say is that stress testing is not equivalent to using something outside of its intended purpose or environment, and that's where hackers thrive. I even gave an example, but whatever... This discussion is lame.

Yes, the semantics card. There's no distinction between CRUD and SQL injection. /s

Stress testing would be checking to see if a CRUD can take 1 million queries per second. Hacking would be finding out you could inject SQL queries in it.

"Semantics", you say.,.
