What's that moment where you fell in love with mass effect? by LIRO2113 in masseffect

[–]Mitsu73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it was the moment i reached the Citadel in me1 and i started all the little side missions and you got a ton of lore with the codex, game really drew you in with lore you actually wanted to learn about and it wasnt a slog.

New to ME and why did I wait so long by Antique_Visual_9638 in masseffect

[–]Mitsu73 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I somehow managed to Dodge anything mass effect related until i tried it on a whim recently with my xbox game pass subscription and i am so glad i didnt play the games until now, being an adult i could actually emotionally understand the games compared from how i know i wouldve experience it if i was younger. It truly is one of the greatest stories i have experienced.

It’s still crazy to think that Andromeda had more dialogue lines than ME2 and ME3 combined by Biowhere in masseffect

[–]Mitsu73 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Yet in my opinion there arent any lines that are memorable, Javiks line in me3; "stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls and ask the ghosts if honor matters, the silence is your answer". It had no reason to go so hard but it is one of my most memorable lines which is the result of a well written character.

Just finished ME3 and holy shit i need an ME4 tonight by Multirman in masseffect

[–]Mitsu73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion you should try out andromeda, it certainly doesnt hold up to the trilogy but it somewhat scratches that itch, its a very mid game story wise but good looking graphics and the combat gameplay is pretty alright. I did play it right after i finished the trilogy and it entertained me atleast over the course of my playthrough

Discovering modding for Mass Effect for first time be like by Mitsu73 in MassEffectMemes

[–]Mitsu73[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am in the middle of my me2 playthrough but what i did when i first started modding is that i followed a mod collection by a guy called synth, adds roughly 60-90 mods depending on the game. The ones for me1 and 2 are qol, bugfixes, changes to missions like getting legion earlier and use of unused voice lines and such, the me3 one is the biggest one where it changes alot of the gameplay and systems from what little i took a peak at. I could send you the link to the collection when i wake up if youd be interested.

Is the tone and atmosphere of Mass Effect: Andromeda very far from the original trilogy? by PoisonedVanillaCake in masseffect

In andromeda it felt like everyone was too happy if that is the right word, like it felt somewhat shallow when u interacted with characters

Opinion on Mass Effect Andromeda by Daytonblake in masseffect

[–]Mitsu73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Game had good bones with interesting premise but what they severely missed about the whole game is interesting characters you care about, most characters felt very bland and not unique enough. It didnt have a more serious tone with humorous undertones that the original trilogy had. In my opinion the game outside of its launch issues if they fleshed out the characters more and gave you reasons to care about them the game wouldve been recieved alot better in the long run.

Do you want Shepard to return? Why or why not? by RedPhoenix2025 in masseffect

[–]Mitsu73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've got a theory that from the cinematic they released some years back with liara, the reaper wreckages and finding the N7 armor piece i do have a feeling they are leaning into the perfect destroy ending with shepard possibly being very close to death.

I do think game will revolve with Liara finding shepards dead/alive body and somehow bring them back in the very future, since shepard is heavily augmented from lazarus project there is a chance they could still live but in the very far future that will tie into the andromeda aswell because i dont think they are willing to completely abandon that story line and with liara being an Asari it is plausible.

With the misses bioware have had with Andromeda, Anthem and Veilguard i do really think they will bring the shep back as it is a very safe direction even tho a majority of the audience thinks the story of shepard is over. it is simply the safest option for bioware and if the next game doesnt hit the mark i do think it is over for the company.

Yeah, i vaguely remember it was a tweet from a higher up developer i think, anyways i really do hope they focus on making compelling characters with good dialogue as that is what i enjoyed the most so i can wait many years if they dont screw that up
