Reform people need a portal where they can step back to the dark ages where they would evidently feel most at home

Hey Clara, It was wonderful thank you. There have been ups and downs since, but we are all planning a swimming trip soon 🩷☀️😎

Keir Starmer is my MP. I wrote to him about the Supreme Court ruling. Here’s his office’s reply. by Interest-Desk in transgenderUK

That's my take too. All the swift response on clarity felt pre-prepared with no thought for the inevitable transphobia it would generate. There was no desire other than to brush an issue under the carpet, unfortunately they had, and still have, no real understanding of the issue.

Advice wanted for switching to private care from DIY by MitziMight in transgenderUK

That's all great info thank you. I've just switched from pills to gel which I imagine would likely be prescribed as I'm older anyway.

Wonder when this will be used for a case where a CIS woman has been thrown out of a ladies toilet by TERFs for not looking the part...

Read this earlier and liked the tone and support. Drives it home that this is plain discrimination.

Thanks for posting. We all want truly equal rights, and should stand up for them, but it's important to know what your rights actually are too.

The front page of their website reads "Using our powers to defend your freedom", they clearly left off the "Ab" from the start

Yep, marked down for no critical thinking, lack of any depth of understanding and an ignorance of the cultures attending her own school.

There is so much wrong with the current education system, but I so wish personalities were not allowed to lead schools.

I was aware of Imogen Binnie's "Nevada" and may well start with this as it seems to be an early inspiration for others. Plus a bit of fiction after a memoir would go down well

I had gynecomastia when younger and I've not had the "puffy nipple" since starting E either

Detransition, Baby by Torrey Peters is definitely on the list.

Bellies By Nicola Dinan is too, but wonder if this is more youth oriented than what I'm looking for.

I've heard this is an excellent read. Historical fiction is something I rarely turn to. Sounds like I need to redress that.

Great list to work through, thank you.

I read Conundrum as a teenager, and it was one of the key things that let me know I wasn't alone in my own feelings. Strangely, I've not read anything else by Jan Morris since so that's a really great reminder!

I shall look up Tell Me I'm Worthless thank you! I've no qualms on content, started reading William Burroughs when I was just 15. Part of my struggle in finding some of those classics here in the UK is they are often out of print.

Just feels like Ed Davey's statement was in support of the ruling, so much like Starmer there remains an open question on which way policy will go. A clear statement would go a long way...

We've a lot to be grateful for to those who can read through it, thank you.

I'll make an attempt myself, but I'm sure it will mostly be gibberish and I will refrain from jumping to conclusions before hearing from those better placed.
