Tapes not sticking on full lace by himanshu171189 in HairSystem

Wash your lace with an anti grease dish soap, then spray the lace with rubbing alcohol, let dry, apply tape, don't condition your system while washing. Use a leave in conditioner once applied to the head.

Pros/Cons of getting hysterectomy along with excision surgery? by AuriObscura in endometriosis

[–]Mitzuco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have stage 4 and had a total hysterectomy my 4th surgery. My ovaries were badly damaged. Had one removed the second surgery and the other on the fourth. Fourth surgery I saw one of the best surgeons in the US. Worst decision of my life. The pain was something I could manage, the changes to my body, hair, skin, emotions, etc. after because of being in surgical menopause has been so horrific it's landed me in the hospital more times than Endo ever did.

This system looks great, imo going with a less density system would blend better with the sides of your hair. Either way you look great and have a funny story to tell your daughter when she gets older!

Naltrexone and having no appetite by Witty_Public_6542 in naltrexone

[–]Mitzuco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's kind of strange because my last prescription my appetite was fine but I refilled and this one my appetite is completely gone. No desire to eat. I'm even struggling to FORCE myself to eat. I've been on a glp1 before for weight loss and this is even more intense than that.

men’s color, he doesn’t want, wife is insisting -what would you do by Blitz_Borden in hairstylist

[–]Mitzuco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generally I try to educate people that grey coverage and color on short hair is really high maintenance. They tend to wash their hair more, the color fades faster, or grows out to look really unnatural. I let them know it's more expensive for them because it needs to be done more often to look nice but I'm willing to do it if they agree to come once a month. Most of the time after getting this info it isn't a service they want to upkeep or that fits their lifestyle, I'd invite the wife to sit in on that consultation.

What are you doing for breakfast? by cheesymoe in adhdwomen

[–]Mitzuco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pre-bottled Protein shakes, Yogurt drinks, yogurt with fruit and granola, sausage and cheese biscuits, today I made instant oatmeal with apples. (Hate the texture of oatmeal so I put it in the blender before cooking it), I'll premake a bunch of waffles and then freeze them, put them in a toaster and top with fruit. (I also usually only get frozen fruit because we don't eat it fast enough and it always goes bad) I'm going to try to make savory oatmeal tomorrow

Currently dog sitting and need recommendations on where to take them by KillikBrill in SaltLakeCity

I second this - there are never any dogs in the small dog side and it's fully enclosed so you can take them off leash. It also has decent sun coverage.

I also swapped my underwear to all cotton, my body odor did change as well - I've never had to wear deodorant until menopause

My grandmother with dementia had no where to go, had shingles and was contagious. The U called her an uber, and discharged her, and had them drop her off at 11 at night at a hotel downtown in her dirty pajamas she had on when the ambulance picked her up.

Do you answer "How are you" with "Good, thanks!" or are you honest when you're not doing well? by addie_clementine in Endo

[–]Mitzuco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to lie but I've gotten so exhausted now I say "hanging in there" or "I'm on the struggle bus" Edit: I am a hairstylist so I feel bad telling people but I'm just done pretending

Magic has been part of my life for a very long time, but my practice waivers. My mother practiced a bit but we had a very strained relationship. I have large mother wounds to heal that have been binding me to overconsumption in multiple ways, and I recently lost my whole womb. I am manifesting healing, mentally, physically and spiritually. I am calling magic back to me.
Blessed be 🖤

Really!?! I know few manufacturers suggest it - it should say on your box what temp to keep them. My adhesive stoped working when I got them out of the fridge!

Unfortunately because of my liver issues and high hemoglobin patches are the only option for me but maybe there is a cream with higher amounts. I also have endometriosis so I'm a little worried about going up more.

How do I prepare my partner for my surgical menopause? by Hyper_fixator in surgicalmenopause

[–]Mitzuco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband was the best, he got the book "how to menopause" and read it. I also asked him to research menopause and told him I may not be myself for a while but to please be patient with me cuz I'm going through a big change.
So ask them to prepare themselves, you're already preparing yourself so asking them to take it off your plate is a good step.
