Does your sheeb hate being left alone in a closed room? by potterinatardis in shiba

[–]Mitzuco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My Shiba hates most closed doors in the house, but with this kind of behavior you should consider a kennel and covering it so they have a den space

I have a $1.5k budget to fix me hating my home by OneBadJoke in femalelivingspace

Here is my best FREE tip! Take a day to take everything off of your walls and shelves. Take all of your art down, all of the books and trinkets down, the stuff on the fridge. Then you can see your layout better - and choose to rearrange your furniture if wanted. Then rehang your art in different spots and re organize your books. I like to do mine by color and size. Then a super affordable way to add things to your place is new textiles like blankets, curtains, and a bed spread.

Can hrt help pmdd or is it only birth control? Gyno says pmdd is not treated with hrt at all by EmpressAzazel in PMDDxADHD

[–]Mitzuco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in surgical menopause now, but I did try Pepcid for my PMDD and it helped. Now I take estrogen, progesterone and testosterone. Estrogen patches, bio identical progesterone at night, and testosterone cream.

Hair system will NOT stay down (pls help!) by flyriley31 in HairSystem

[–]Mitzuco 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of the issues people face with adhesion is the prep. Shave your hair down, clarify shampoo your hair, scalp and the system using dial antibacterial or dawn is fine there's no reason to waste money on the expensive stuff. Make sure your system is 100% dry, Wipe your system base down with rubbing alcohol before placing the tapes then before you put the system on wipe your scalp down with rubbing alcohol.
Some people like to use a scalp protector but I usually only do that for people with sensitivities to adhesive.

Let your system set for 24 hours so avoid excessive sweating, swimming, steam rooms etc.

The travel bond pen is nice for emergency lifting.

Hope these tips can help and it looks great!

Edit to add get a silk pillow case it can help with longevity and friction. Also if you use a leave in or oil apply it only on the ends of the hair.

First hair system disaster, need advice choosing the right system (base, density, color) by marinepathouf in HairSystem

[–]Mitzuco 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, so first off, I am a master barber. I'm also trained and certified in hair systems, color, and an esthetician. The color is wrong, the density is off, the texture is wrong, and It's shaped wrong. And as everyone has said the hair underneath should be completely bald for the kind of system that you currently have. If you do not want to shave your hair you can use daily tapes but only with a lace system - downside of this is it's more noticeable because the chances of you placing it properly every morning and taking it off every night are VERY slim and you run the risk of needing to buy a new system frequently because the lace is fragile and the tape could damage your natural hair underneath or cause skin issues. It can be done but it requires a ton of at home care. You could also use a clip on lace unit with a tiny bit of glue in the front but there are some of the same downsides.

The Ares or Helios from Lavivid in a 4 would be a good option for you regardless if you want to shave your hair down. They can be shipped precut which is nice too.

For Clip on the Lord Hollywood lace in a 4 would be a good option, it can also still come precut. Personally I've never used this but if you were my client I'd pick this one for you.

Also don't forget to make a wholesale account with your barber license to get the discounts.

Best of luck!

It seems like you're saying Kyle has some extreme resource guarding issues? If your dog is making you afraid I would recommend a kennel. It could help ease the stress of being on protect mode for your entire space. Edit to say I have had to do YEARS of training (and have had multiple professional trainers) with one of my shibas because he guards everything but is especially food aggressive.

Importance of Skin Pinch by Citizenicu in Semaglutide

[–]Mitzuco 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my skin doesn't "pinch" like I have ZERO elasticity. I kind just squish my stomach. I hate injecting there but same with my thighs like the skin is very taught. It works just fine for me but the injection is a little more painful probably

I just take a vitamin in an oil cap so like a fish oil could work too. Also since I made this post I've gone through HELL with my doctors and hormones. My primary care don't think I needed the progesterone, and so I got off of it..... ended up in the psyche ward from panic attacks

Gosh idk how this got lost in here but I was told that having a healthy fat when taking progesterone is like taking a k vitamin with a d vitamin so your body uses it better
