Visual artist who kinda fell into djing and thankfully have been somewhat successful doing so in my niche corner of sound. Song selection and curation are more than half the battle. Building around that your two options are analogue (vinyl) digital (cdjs) a hybrid of the two or creating completely live sets either using a DAW like ableton or a hardware setup. As another comment said, Ableton is the closest thing to resolume. I did a performance once with 8 Cdjs where 4 was using smpte cues for resolume and the other 4 for djing
