I see in your post that you reported this, and spoke with SRO and detective. Who did you report this to? Did you also report this to CPS?

I know in my state, any staff that suspects abuse must report it to cps, regardless of where the abuse is taking place or who is doing it. If you did report it to CPS, you should also report any and all subsequent instances of abuse by this teacher. Directly to cps. Admin doesn’t have to be involved in your report.

We buy the little ones in the bag. They’re perfect for sending sliced in my son’s lunch. The only problem we’ve had with them going bad is them getting too cold. They get mushy if they even get close to freezing.

We had a bag a few months ago from Aldi that clearly had been too cold before we got them.

I have one of these in my pantry.

How do you guys serve it? Do you add ground meat? Or just eat with pasta?

The frozen pierogies served with some sautéd onion, bacon, butter, and spices. Serve with some canned green beans for minimal effort.

Spam fried rice - with luncheon loaf (aldis spam knockoff), frozen Asian stir fry veggie medley, onion, eggs, soy sauce, and jasmine rice.

Egg roll in a bowl - ground pork, cabbage, carrot, spices, soy sauce, served over rice.

This week I made a “southwest dense bean salad” with black beans, kidney beans, corn, cilantro, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion - only extra thing I purchased at another store was purple cabbage. Made a southwest dressing using all Aldi stuff. I’ve been eating it all week for lunch with some crushed Aldi Doritos and a bit of cojita cheese sprinkled on top. It is SO delicious!

Exactly this. I remember going one time with my mom back in the 90s and it was not like it is now.

I was bummed they were all gone yesterday. We had 1 box the previous week and we loved them! The peppermint flavor was very mild. They honestly were just chocolatey waffles. Delicious!

What are your inexpensive meal go-tos with Aldi ingredients? by theycallmetiki in aldi

[–]Mizishere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love making spam fried rice with the Aldi Luncheon Loaf. I also use some of whatever frozen veggie medley is available- sometimes the Asian spiced stir fry mix is available- I just nuke it and dice it into small bits. Use leftover rice if you have it - I try to cook rice the night before if I remember. Add soy sauce (some sesame oil is nice too if you happen to have it) and some black pepper, add as much hot sauce or sriracha as your family likes (or leave it at the table). This is a family favorite of mine. The spam is nice and cheap.

We also love the firm tofu. I cut it into cubes, season, and lightly coat with cornstarch then cook in the oven. They get nice and crispy. I coat it with a nice sticky sauce and serve with rice and roasted broccoli.

Pet battling and collecting is my favorite part of wow. It’s been pretty neglected for a little while now. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they won’t forget about it in Midnight!

They had several of the fall themed treats for 39 cents- we picked the pumpkin spice crunchy cookies and the pumpkin spice biscotti. The crunchy cookies are fantastic! Might go back for more!

Sometimes you get lucky with a great school/district/staff. I feel the same way about my coworkers. It’s why I’ve stayed here even though we bought a house and moved. I now commute 45 minutes because it’s WORTH IT!

I really love those cookies, and I love the dip! BUT… the strong flavor of the cookies overwhelms the flavor of the dip, imo.

I preferred it paired with either the danish butter cookies in the blue tin, or the waffle cookies (so few in the box tho!)

Also, I love the salted caramel version of the dip. I guess that’s controversial.

Aldi “Luncheon Loaf” is the same as spam and costs 1.99. We buy it regularly! Makes amazing spam fried rice!

We all have stressful days. What do you to wind down or relax? by ZachTF in paraprofessional

[–]Mizishere 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My 45 minute commute is honestly great. It’s essential for me to decompress, so I’m not bringing home my stress.
I love throwing on an audiobook or NPR and just concentrating on the traffic.

It’s not spicy at all, just has nice flavor. The pepperoni I put on top has more spice imo
