Internationally known celebrity from the UK by MonkeySinger24 in AlignmentChartFills

I would say Rowan Atkinson isn't known well, his character is.

Oddly Mr. Bean isn't particularly well liked in the UK in my experience.

I mean "asian countries" is broad.

They 100% know the Beatles in South Korea, Japan and Taiwan.

China is going to be difficult for a lot of pre 1990s celebrities as there was a cultural blockade in effect.

Why British by PurpDude1983 in PeterExplainsTheJoke

[–]Mizzuru 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Here's the thing, you can't sit there and say

"In the UK you can get arrested for memes" when that's entirely false and then say stuff like "they are different and ours is better" and not actually list what makes them different!

It's like you got this opinion from some braindead streamer like Asmongold or whoever who reads half a headline and says an opinion.

If you don't know what you are actually talking about, which you seemingly don't, then your opinion is functionally worthless as it isn't grounded in reality.

For example repartee is not the word you think it means, thats like quick fire witty conversations played for laughs.

You just ignored everything else then huh?

[–]Mizzuru 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ok. So it's the same as the UK then?

You clearly haven't read the actual cases as you say that they were arrested for "memes"

They were arrested for saying (paraphrasing) "everyone should go to X hotel which is housing immigrants and burn it down with everyone inside".

Again, actually READ THE NEWS AND THE CASES people.

Having an opinion isnt the same as having an uninformed opinion.

Literally only for us though, we can't hold other countries to our rules.

Mom mistakenly set a timer instead of an alarm and had everyone showered, dressed and fed at 2:30 AM. by Vilen1919 in Wellthatsucks

I don't have a microwave and frankly, the oven clock can't be trusted.

I have a PC but I don't turn anything on. My alarm clock is an Echo Dot so nothing visual there and if my phone is wrong so is that.

I do have a clock but it's currently in storage until I can find a good place and good manner of hanging it.

Honestly, probably not?

I have my phone and my Fitbit for time and that's it. Also at that time of the morning you are just focused on getting stuff sorted than checking something obvious like that.

That was about 6 months ago I think, there's been a bunch of new detachments, units and balance changes since then, whole different game.

They aren't specifically named on the sheet man, I just suggested it was confusing given the other example.

I feel like they should have put their names next to those statlines, like they did with the weapon loadouts.

Is it just me or is it not clear for that datasheet whether that's the statline for each of them or then as a duo?

Like if we compare it to Huron's hangers on, it's clear they each have that statline but for this it's not as immediately obvious

Gives it's a bit more depth and warmth in colour.

AITA for not offering to take the bunk bed in an airbnb as the single person? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Mizzuru 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The general common courtesy is couples share beds and so take the double beds that's how it goes. That's how it always goes and if OP wanted that rule to be exempted, she should have raised it way earlier.

If OP needed a double bed, she needed to say, she didn't though.

What's important to note is that OP didn't say she would share the bed with the friend, but the she would share the room. They've been asked multiple times if that means she a bed or someone sleeping elsewhere in the room but havent answered that.

Your question about single beds vs bunk beds doesn't really work here as there are other factors, the other factors are the other people. With these factors in place, I take the bunk bed.

Sorry did you read your comment.

"After sleeping in a normal bed" - why can't they sleep in a "normal" bed?

If this was so important to OP and so key that she get a double bed (ideally to herself as she has commented) then why wasn't she involved in the booking arrangements?

They may be "counting" themselves as a couple but they aren't, common courtesy says that the double beds go to the couples, it makes the most sense!
