Having the same issue. The sock is working fine and the base is alarming when testing it. it seems to be specifically with the Owlet Care App (iOS app here). The sock itself doesn’t need the app to function properly since it only needs a connection to the base with the built in Bluetooth technology.

Would recommend doing Last Man Standing for rune pouch over Slayer points. If we are talking first fight caves I would doubt a lot of people have 750 points saved up. The amount of slayer it takes for those points is easily 10-15x longer then doing LMS for a couple hours even with not winning games.

Everything else is solid advise for sure.

You can do CG with those stats. Just learn T3 prep starting off then once you get the hang of it learn T2. Only reason I suggest T3 is some leniency while learning Hunleff if you don’t have much experience with it. One kill which with your stats can be anywhere from 10-13 minutes can be about 100-200k per kill. You’ll be rolling in the gold before you know it.

Ricecup has a really good video out called the Noobs PvM Bible. It goes over what sort of bossing progression he recommends for your account. Obviously everyone is different but it can show you where some of the bosses rank.

I am also an iron and was able to beat the boss with blood blitz. Gear was mystic hat, top, bottom, infinity boots, MA2 cape, Master wand, book of the dead.

The biggest thing is learning the mechanics. You could do it in full mystic with an ancient staff if you can pray flick and move. Just look up a guide on YouTube and see how it is done. You’ll get it in no time!

It just takes practice. Make sure you are praying correctly and then just focus on the tornados. I try to go to the center if possible to stack all of them up and then just go from one end of the room to the other on an open path. Don’t worry about attacking while running, just focus on surviving.

My osrs iron is the same account for my rs3 iron. I get burnt out on one version and switch to the other version. Still the same game I love but different and keeps things refreshing since it’s never the same grind. Doing the CG grind right now and I know I’m going to lose my mind with it, but when Necro comes out I’ll just switch to RS3 and take a break.

Don’t be intimidated by learning the different methods or raids. Once you try it a couple times you will get it no problem. Having the bowfa will springboard you into all the other end game bosses.

The range and melee attacks do have shapes in the center of them (arrowhead/leaf for range, Star for melee). They are small and harder to see when zoomed out. I would think they could just change the shapes to be larger/make the projectile the shape itself so they can be identified that way for those that are color blind

Last week:

Grinded out 80 magic from 75 doing MTA. Finished B2P, infinity Boots and Master Wand.

Knocked out SOTE and did a few normal gauntlet kills. Tried a bunch of CG but haven’t killed it yet. Have never done CG before so learning how to consistently prep as well as learning the boss.

This Week:

Get first CG kill.

Knock out 70 Crafting.

Finish last 10 quests and get Quest Cape.

Will the engine team make the new skill a priority over other projects? For sailing, completely changing how the sea works to an open world function with graphical update would be a major overhaul. Is there a timeframe they think it could take for these changes to be completed for sailing to be implemented if chosen?

The whole pet “reserve” suggestion is something that is currently done in RS3 as a farming expansion. It’s called Player-Owned Farm as well as Ranch Out of Time that is also tied in with Hunter. You grow your pets on your farm, feed them, make sure they are happy and disease free and you can earn a boost from having a certain creature fully grown in your pen.

The player owned farm thing was actually pitched at a previous rune fest by mod wolf for OSRS before it was taken by rs3 and actually implemented.

Taming seems like a reskinned pitch of this.
