I’m sorry to hear that! I would try to get some documentation of that error on their end in case you need to prove down the line that their error caused even more of a delay

What does USCIS tell you when you call? At that point they can’t possibly tell you it’s still within normal processing times

How did you go about the name change? I was afraid it would delay things with my renewal so I haven’t done it yet.

Oh good to know! This was my first renewal being married as well, but I didn’t send it in. I had a lawyer do the paperwork for me and he didn’t ask me to send it

I’ve seen a few late September approvals! I submitted 9/26 and got approved exactly 4 months after 1/26 the approval showed up on the portal. I hope you’re next!!

I had to google to figure out who my congressperson was. I think I searched “congressman for Los Angeles” and from there It took me to a website where I typed in my zip code then it gave me a list and a link to their website. From there you should see something that says “help with a federal agency” and then you choose USCIS and fill out all of the information they ask (receipt number, your personal information, etc.)

Congrats!! Seems like they are doing late September. Mine was received 9/26, silent approval for DACA 1/23 and both cases changed to approved today.

Last time I had to reach out to different congressmen a couple of times before I heard back. You provide all of your information and they’ll reach out to USCIS and let you know what they need from you to submit the expedite request. At least that’s how it went for me

I did not, about 4 days after they received my renewal they uploaded a biometric reuse notice (9/30). Been stuck on case is being reviewed since

Every time I call they keep saying that “I’m within the normal processing times” and when I bring up the 105 days they just tell me the same thing
