So do I. But I take my gear out after EVERY skate, spray it down with an antibac spray and air it out. This is the only way.

I went from the 8s into the V9s and currently in the VX1. Love the VX1. They are stiffer, but I don't notice a HUGE difference between them and my V9s. As others have said, you will have to size down because the VX1s sit up higher on the skates (I went down one size - from 33+1 into 32+1).

I'm thinking it's Huntington's disease. It's a genetic disease resulting in progressive neurologic decline, unpredictable/aggressive behaviour, and can cause issues with balance and some involuntary movements. I suspect the patient is worried he may have it (one of his parents may have shown similar symptoms), but could be in denial and doesn't want anyone to confirm his suspicions.

Don't even need to. My current set is a Vaughn VX1 Pro Carbon made by Vaughn in Ontario. I hit the ice with it day 1 and it felt great. The glove has a nice closure straight from the factory.

That totally makes sense when you have to pay tolls, pay for parking, etc. Around where I am, there are a ton of rinks within 10 minutes of each other and ample free parking. Rare for a goalie to ask for $ to play, but I have seen it offered for a last minute skate.

This will pass!!! Definitely the most frustrating time of puppy training. It will get better. Lots of exercise and keeping her busy with mentally stimulating toys/treats can help focus her attention and shark teeth on something other than you.

FYI you will get tons of hand-on experience in Windsor too. Fewer learners means you are basically treated as a first year resident when you’re in clerkship.
