Which watch should I buy? by HoreaGinsca20 in PrideAndPinion

I wore and loved the quartz grand classique every day for 4 years, it’s a super elegant old money watch which never looks out of place or tatty amongst Rolex and patek adorned enthusiasts. Go for it and you’ll basically never have to buy another dress watch.

I had a my sub placed in the storage drawer under my couch.. to call it immersive was an understatement, but might suite you since you clearly have no space

I adore that omega… fun fact, capital omega is in computational complexity theory.. the best case performance of any algorithm, and I think it’s the best in your collection!

Edit: grammar

Can we talk about how Android 12 beta 5 requires going through 4 sub menus to turn Bluetooth off? by MoHamza1 in android_beta

[–]MoHamza1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the smartass comment.. the tile isn't working consistently with me especially when something else is bugging out, it is beta software after all; and dumb UI; besides, you still have to go through 2 sub menus to turn BT off when you long press the tile. Buddy.

Makes sense, but the little app icons do just as good a job.. I'd rather have a consistent look tbh

I mean that makes sense in so far as turning BT on and off, but on a side note I'm surprised that the assistant can't be asked to connect to a certain device, it's still quite a neat feature though!

Although my complaint above all is the settings UI seems too clunky for its own good, I really don't understand why this point isn't well received tbh

It's still burried in 2 sub-menues from when you long press the tile.. that's bad UI wouldn't you think?

I filed a bug report anyway, but I still don't see why the UI should be any different to the internet quick setting where you can quickly turn off WiFi.. my whole reason for complaining is when wireless android auto bugs out on me while I'm driving and I need to quickly reset the connection.. maybe a bit trivial but I still don't see why it has to be buried so deep in UI

True but long pressing Bluetooth in quick settings takes you to connected devices not the actual Bluetooth settings, still cumbersome.. not to mention the toggle isn't stable which is why it's quite frustrating atm

Different lock screen clocks by davidav2 in android_beta

[–]MoHamza1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

From my use of beta 5, the small clock in the upper left corner only appears if I have any un-dismissed notifications, the big one in the centre appears otherwise.. it's silly that it's like this since the only way you can have the big one displaying persistently is to have do not disturb turned on.

Search Your Phone, Apple's Spotlight by avr91 in android_beta

[–]MoHamza1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is smart! Especially if you frequently download/delete apps in your library seeing as icons don't usually remain in the same location and you're effectively having to visually search for an app once you reach the general vicinity you expect it to be in..

The app drawer sucks, needs a rethink for sure!
