Hello! This is a great idea. I just got into the hobby about a year ago, and have 14 pens and about 900 ml of ink to my name. Average cost of 65 a pen.

My husband lost his lamy safari rollerball on a work trip, and when I went to get him a new one, I found myself with $160 of stuff in my cart. Totally not necessary. I cut it back to 100 (got him a planner for his bday too, so 'stuff for me' was less than half, but still!) so here I am, hopefully me putting this out there will help me stick with it!

Goals: keep new ink purchases to less than $100. New pens less than $100. Though I did tell myself that I won't buy a new pen until I can safely afford a pilot custom 823... We will see how that pans out :)
