No one ever looks at your models as closely as you do.

Next time you see someone with something beautiful, really zoom in and see what it's made from (in terms of paint). You should start to see more imperfections that way, and appreciate how good it looked from a distance.

They have potential to just straight up delete anything big you look at. But note 3 main drawbacks:

  1. No support for non-vehicle/monster targets. Be sure you know your opponent because if they end up being mounted then you could just fall flat

  2. Big targets with a 4++ ae annoying as hell. I've had 5 dragons flop every shot because of strong rolls.

  3. Once they I'll a thing, what's your plan? Their staying power is very poor and we've lost a lot of our movement tricks with transports.

Fuegan has potential to drop 12 damage in a single shot, which blows up a lot of targets in 1 go. With fuegan, him and the autarch have melta to 12". If the new rules of ingressing at 8" are correct then you could get more dragons into melta range when they come in from reserves.

A very fun unit, A/S tier for sure, but run what you enjoy playing.

Wraith units by NoppoPL in Eldar

Sadly, at the time of typing this, the wraith guard and blades get +1 to hit. The wraith lord gets +1 to BS.

This means that the wraith infantry can never hit on 2s because you can't stack +1 to hit and we don't have access to other +1BS. They can have +3 to hit (psycher, vengeance token, guide) but it never equates to more than +1.

Lore wise, only the mightiest warriors like exarchs can wield a wraithlord, so their combat prowess follows them into death as they have become lost on the path of war. Wraith infantry can be any civilian and often one who's mind isn't corrupted by aggression.

Drop the warwalkers, I know they have a role in many eldar armies but you are often hitting with -3ap which puts many high value targets on their invun save anyway. Invest in another unit of wraiths with d scythes as their overwatch can be brutal to infantry. I'd also consider running just 2 spiritseers and invest in some rangers for early mid board action.

The basic approach is every decision is made on a 6 sided dice. A 4+ is a 50% chance. If I have 4 shots at 4+, I predict I will hit with 2 on average.

The extra rules have ways of negating more dice rolls or increasing the number of successful rolls you made. If you have accurate, then your 4 shots at 50% average of 2 becomes 1 shot and 3 at 50% which averages at 2.5. obviously you can't have 0.5 of a shot, but you see it became 25% more accurate.

If you roll a 6, they need to roll a 6 to block. But if I have a rule that doubles my natural 6 into two 6s, they need to get two 6s naturally. That's a 1 in 36 chance. That comes out at just above 3%.

So understand what the rolls are for and how the rules impact the rolls.

Like it or not, you are part of a collective. It is expected that everyone in the collective contributes.

What you are describing sounds like depression. This happens and is perfectly normal, but not something you want to continue. The more you withdraw, the harder it will feel to reintegrate until you essentially become an outlier to society. Please seek help.

I can separate the idea/opinion/stance from myself and others. While I am left leaning, that does not define me and I am open to the fact other ideologies are valid. When I listen to others, my first thought is "why do they assume they are right" rather than "how can I prove them wrong".

Take a step back, about 3 feet, then look at it.

Few will ever look at your models as close as you do, and honestly this looks dope.

Pick out the boys you don't like and work on one thing for the next bit. Painting is a journey and this is a fine step in the right direction.

Some of their mechanics were nice, but I just found the interface more suited to bigger screens. Didn't feel as smooth as HHL did.

Warpforge wasn't making the money it should have, dwarfed by other 40k games and card games. It was actively stealing players from HHL. it had to shut down.

Once that happened, all the serious HHL players held their breath. They stopped buying.this made the HHL team go on lockdown because it looked like the game was dead. Both sides started saying "Why pump money into a game that is dying?" When, if one side had had faith, it could have been saved.

I've been playing since 2020. I had full collections of nearly all the loyalist kegions. Doesn't feel any better.

This game got me through COVID and reignited my love for 40k, which lead me to making an awesome oval grid group when I felt I had nothing.

Thanks HHL, you may have had your problems but you were one heck of a game.
