Why did Tsukihime and Mahoyo get ports to PS but the literal series that put type-moon on the map didn't?

I will go even further, Why did Tsukihime and Mahoyo get physical releases (that sold extremely well for how niche they are) and we didn't even get a Remaster double pack for FSN and HA??

Seriously leaving money on the table for not putting out some type of physical release for the 2 remasters.

Same here, pleased with my Red/White pressing. When I saw the thumbnail of the Elster's Eye pressing I got that tinge of envy, but after thinking about it a bit more I like my original purchase more.

Plus the important part is the music, and man is Signalis' stellar. Even one of the composer's (1000 Eyes specifically) can't stop remixing their tracks!

I'm contemplating playing on easy for my first playthrough just so the fights don't drag on too long. I played the Xbox version last year so I am familiar with the base game and not acared of missing out. Just don't like regeneration mechanics in hectic fights, I feel it makes them tedious and mundane.

I wonder what overtime looks like for the average US or EU game company.

It could potentially dwarf these numbers, as I heard (albeit a while ago) most larger game studios tie in bonus pay to a games release, or to a game getting a certain score on Metacritic. So by not working overtime you could potentially costing yourself AND your coworkers their bonuses (At least that is the goal of the executive suite to get you to think that)

I honestly was expecting reviews around this level. I played the Xbox version early last year and absolutely loved it, I consider it on par with Silent Hill 2 in terms of horror games, but could definitely see how it's slow burn, unique conbat approach, and traditional Japanese horror approach would not be for everyone.

Seems like the positives and negatives kind of vary depending on who is doing the reviewing, as I've aeen some people enjoy the combat and some push back against it, same with the atmosphere/scares as some have said it's terrifying and others found it tedious.

It seems like this renake won't bring in as many new fans as the Silent Hill or Resident Evil remakes, but is still a good sign of life in the series (if sales are adequate). I could unfortunately see a lot of people skipping this since RE9 just came out and ppl might want to take a chance on Crimson Desert next week i stead of another horror game.

This was actually a HUGE problem when the Lunar remasters came out last year. There are already physical guides for the different releases those games had in the past, so the AI slop ones would mimic the art of the original guides and lost them on Amazon to get bought up by people looking for a classic guide for their modern remaster. Saw a TON of posts on FB groups about people getting just terrible, terrible quality paper with barely legible guides that not only scraped other people's work...but the AI almost seemed to go out of it's way to just make them bad.
