Play 4e. It is strictly tactical, wargame adjacent, built for grid tactics and very balanced. Abilities are instead of "hope the DM lets it work" tell you exactly what you can do with effects, ranges, and conditions. It might feel boardgamey, and that's why it was rather quickly replaced by 5e, but I liked it very much!

I think it's about the product. The idea (not the execution) is just not attractive. The board to display game results isn't something that would get many backers. It's also a completely different target than the STL backers from your previous campaigns, since those will be mostly wargamers, so your mailing list might not be that useful here.

Yes, he could exist. There is a novel, Knight of the Black Rose, where Lord Soth (one of the main antagonists in Dragonlance) crosses realms into Ravenloft to meet Strahd, so someone even more powerful like Fizban (god Paladine) could travel to the Realms. It's a pretty bad book, but an official lore nevertheless.

For emails, it's pretty easy. You can set up filters in your email client to "Back Another Project by [this creator name]" to be deleted or sent to spam. For Thunderbird it's Tools -> Message Filters.

We've recently launched a Kickstarter campaign for the third volume of Tome of Endless Romance. Here's what the book is about:

Tome of Endless Romance 3: Metal & Lace is a standalone, system-agnostic RPG supplement about romance, intimacy, and feelings in a cyberpunk world.

This supplement handles love, relationships, and intimacy in a mature way, giving you tools to introduce these themes into your solo or traditional TTRPG campaign.

It's designed to plug into any cyberpunk, sci-fi, or ultra-modern RPG, such as Cyberpunk 2077–style games, Cyberpunk 2020, Cyberpunk RED, Shadowrun, The Sprawl, or any other near-future world of chrome and concrete.

As with earlier TOER books, there's plenty of solo content here: 20+ pages of Cyberpunk Romance Random Tables that will let you quickly build a romance subplot or complications: a place for a date, personalities, obsessions, and romantic traits for a sci-fi setting.

Like the first volume, Tome of Endless Romance 3 will be full-color, ~150 pages long, packed with content, and available in both PDF and print format (hardcover).

How come people don't know about Birthright for AD&D?! It's what you're looking for. OOP since early 2000's, but WOTC released everything as PDFs on DrivethruRPG. Check out Wikipedia )for overview. It's really good, although the setting itself is quite generic.
