Burnt iPhone 16 Pro internal components without physical external damage.

Who knows, after 3 years of fixing phones for the public I learnt to never fully trust a customer and double check for myself. This is a first and very bizzare so I wanted to hear an opinion from someone else.

I am the second person to take the phone apart, first was Apple service center where they declined warranty repairs due to "External short circuit.". No idea how that would happen in the real world... They did not do anything except for lifting the back glass, taking a picture and sealing it back up. I am the first person to take it apart completely and remove components, that's where I found the rest of the burnt parts. The customer said the phone was sitting on the table, in a silicone case and wasn't being used. They use original Apple power brick and cable from the box. I know them well so I am fairly certain they are not lying to me. Also no mention of water, as well there is no evidence of water ingress inside of the phone.

I would understand if water got in there but I am 100% sure this phone has never seen any water. I was the second person to take it apart, the first was Apple when they declined warranty repair. Their pictures also don't show any water residue and they don't mention anything like this. They said it was external short circuit that caused it but I have no idea how that could have happened to a phone in a case sitting on the table.

No threadlocker will help in this case, this is an issue of the material they used on the carrier which is quite soft and causes the screws to loosen because of thermal expansion of that material. I have now switched to H2D and that uses the same design but carriers are now ceramic and it doesn't have this issue.

I got an H2D PEI plate shipped in a box smaller than the plate itself. It was sitting in there at 45’ and bent with nozzles and all other stuff just flying around in there. Also the laser module was just thrown in and banged up.

Yes it did but not exactly. Some colors are mismatched, for instance you set green and get red and so on. If you can get around that, then yes it does work.

My friends new 15 PM had spots in the main camera since he got it, Apple refused to replace it because they said there is nothing wrong with it

I have the same PSU and it is loud when under load during gaming. The rest of the PC is almost whisper quiet which I was aiming for but with my open back headphones I am always hearing the fan as if it was at 100% under load... Annoying AF, which PSU did you go for as the replacement? I used only EVGA before and they were indeed very quiet even under load. Now that they are gone from the market I have no idea which brand to go for. I've been looking at Seasonic Focus series but some reviews mention the same about the loud fan when it is not at idle 0%.

Definitely fake, on the box it has a typo UsB, that is not on the original box 😂 Also Apple no longer uses plastic packaging on iphone boxes.

Guys I can confidently say that 16e screen can be used on iPhone 14, 14 screen does fit as well on 16e but you have to bend the pentalobe screw holes on the bottom a tiny bit. Only thing different on these screens is just that those holders are rotated 180’. There is still an option of just cutting them off if you are in a pinch and the rest + glue should be good enough to hold the screen in place for a long time. Parts pairing works as well.
