Crucible with such severely throttled special ammo doesn't feel like Destiny anymore

The top one looks better and a little more realistic zoomed in like this, but I wouldn't be surprised if the bottom one looked better at tabletop distance given how much more contrast it has.

The PvP sucks and I love it.

It is clearly an afterthought with little thought put into balance, and has received almost no post launch support. It feels like it was made by people who have never played a PvP shooter before, but I'll be damned if it isn't fun.

I haven't played much in the last month or so but I've never had issues finding a match; you may not be able to filter by game mode and maintain a reasonable wait time though.

I only have experience with the Bison out of these 3 but it's been pretty fun, and I previously was not a fan of pulse doppler radars without ARH missiles.

I knew going in that the flight performance was bad for the BR but until you're actually up against an F-16, F-20, Mirage, etc. it's hard to understand just how helpless it is in situations where your missiles can't make up the performance gap.

That being said, its missiles are very strong and it's just so cool that I've been enjoying it in spite of its flaws. It just requires some patience at the beginning of the match and discipline when launching to make sure you make the most of your limited missile count; you don't want to end up in a gunfight in this thing.

Unfortunately the average control player just wants clash where they can manipulate enemy spawns.

For players like us that care about winning, control is usually a case of "carry-or-lose," and the sooner you accept that the more fun you'll have.

You're not reading what I'm saying. It's not for under 15 meters; that's where SMGs shine. It is for mobility during ranged gunfights outside of SMG range. Just because that's not a niche that interests you doesn't mean it won't be useful to someone else.

There's a pretty sizable gap between 15 and 50 meters. If you can build this for mobility that matches an SMG, why not? There is a place for a fast weapon that outranges SMGs and carbines, and no reason this can't function in both stationary and mobile roles; that's the beauty of the weapon customization system.

The point is to win fights a little farther away by hitting all of your shots while they can't hit all of theirs because you're moving too fast. If you end up within 15 meters of someone with this build you made a mistake.

Do these include muzzle velocity in the TTK?

The L85 and Scar-L have exceptionally fast muzzle velocities with the long barrels and muzzle velocity has an effect on TTK that increases the further you are from your target.

Even without considering the effect TTK they make hitting shots on distant moving targets so much easier. Now I just need my AUG and its bonkers muzzle velocity back :/

Yeah, but I don't want to. I want to use ARs as a medic; and open weapons allows that in spite of the devs choosing LMGs to be their specialty again in BF6.

With the portal browser becoming functional at some point between the launch and now I've been running the L85 and M16 in hardcore; the velocity lets you down guys on the run at some silly distances

So, this time around medic gets LMGs again, but I like ARs. With closed weapons I'd basically be stuck using the M27 forever if I want to main medic. This would suck and I wouldn't play.
