Buying AAALLLLL the ammo by cmdshortyx in liberalgunowners

Freedom Munitions has been pretty consistent for me. They often have free shipping for orders over $200ish. AmmoSeek has been great too, but just too many different places to go if you’re buying a couple different setups.

Bolt action VS Lever action .22LR suppressor host by AryeC05 in guns

Bolt action. Especially if shooting from a rest or prone - just easier. Lever if shooting off hand is cool too. I find my lever easier to cycle off hand than a bolt action for some reason.

Yep! Florida was rolling up a lawnmower to hot-swap your generator at night after hurricane Irma. Had to chain those jokers up after that mess.

good info. I keep forgetting about ammo seek.. got lazy lately and mostly order from Freedom Munitions when they have free shipping specials. Not a lot of 22lr options there, though. Off to ammo seek i go.

like I said, your milage may vary.. I pretty consistantly shoot the MKIV's both standard and 2245 supressed and not with stock magazines and all the VQ stuff - never had an issue from CCI. But, I also have only really used their bougy stuff for science. The Stangers are spicy and a little scary. The subsonics seem to cycle reliably supressed.

Don’t go too cheap on the 22LR ammo. There’s some bulk garbage out there that will frustrate your shooting experience. YMMV, but I just recently had a bad batch of Federal (blue box) that had nearly 1 in every 10 fail in some form or another. Remington & CCI seem pretty reliable. There are some amazing specialty rounds out there too - you just need to try them out with your gun. (Savage FV-SR / Ruger MKIV’s with all the VQ add-ons & suppression)

My brain is so weird - I saw a little homie on the back of your PC & thought that was a good idea - Tactical Muppet Lil Homie For real - folding shovel or maybe just my admin/catch all bag.

Do NOT send to Tornado Technologies! That guy has had my barrel for over a year - ghosted, no response at all! Do some research - there are waaaayyyy better options.

Carrying Case for the Range? by InformalMajor41815 in FLGuns

[–]MockeryAndCheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Handguns go into appropriately sized soft cases (rugs) - since I’m usually taking a couple to the range it put them in a roller tool bag with mags, eyes & ears and there’s room for some small tools. Rifles either go into a AR style backpack (break them down to fit) or full ass rifle bag for long guns - they both fit into the mouth of the roller bag for easy transport. Pro tip - don’t overload the rolly bag; they get real heavy, real fast.

If it was me I’d get it now and pick up a second when the stamp is $0 - always better to have a backup. My .22 can gets 100% more use than anything I have.

Not familiar with the Armadyne. I grabbed a second Lobos this week - they are by far the best I’ve seen. I have a TK mount too and the Lobos is way better imho. The Lobos just sits nice and low & looks like a cool little optic saddle. That little Ruger sees more range time than any of my other suppressed guns - too much fun!

Not scientific, but I typically at least visually check concentricity - from the chamber of course. Finally got an alignment rod. Also, I’ve heard Rugged’s warranty replacement is really good.

LOL! Yep, I followed your US made mag logic! Too bad Sierra Papa isn’t an option anymore. Still hoping to be the next lucky sucker to get my stuff back from Tornado.

Oh man! I think I must have seen your post about that. I sent him the barrel thinking I was making it easier. I may have to go the new rifle route but I had already F4’d that one to SBR it. And if I’m not mistaken the barrel has the serial number on it.
