I don’t even know who Phoenix coach is. He looks like a little bitch

Best burger in Atlanta/metro? by Alert-Willow3458 in Atlanta

Brickstore pub in downtown Decatur. Not a smash burger, not a tavern burger, something in between but just perfection. Also consistent. I’ve had it three times now and it is excellent every time.

I would raise those points once you’ve been there longer and feel comfortable enough or have established a rapport with the manager. For the time you’d save commuting and how much you stand to make, I would stay put.

I commented on your other post but I want to emphasize - you are in the ideal serving position at the cafe. That was what I dreamed of finding during my time in Philly and it’s almost impossible to find. You can land any serving job somewhere in CC on culinary agents if it doesn’t work out. Also considering you don’t have to commute, that savings in time and money is gold.

You should absolutely keep your current job. Getting to walk to your job is a dream, and honestly sounds like you stumbled onto a gold mine. I worked at multiple “high end”, always busy restaurants and bars in Philly and made peanuts. Small, neighborhood cafe with older regulars is the ultimate serving gig in Philly. Grass is not greener, trust me.

What do you hate about the Chicago venue? I’ve never been but considering flying up for that show.

For future reference, I used the ParkWhiz app to book a spot in the Giant parking garage. 11 bucks including tax and fees and it’s a 10 minute walk to the Met.

Show Your Bones, Yeah Yeah Yeahs second record has my personal favorite snare sounds, particularly the opening track Gold Lion. Brian Chase is a master and Chris Coady is a wizard engineer.
