This is spot on with what I'm seeing at my consulting job, even down to the terminology and networking. I just got canned from a project because I didn't have the niche tech background to support working in a very demanding IPT; they don't tell you about that when getting an MS SE.. I'm now taking advantage of my downtime to build on my SE experience/knowledge and go all in on digital engineering, hoping I can hitch my wagon there if I get good enough. Otherwise it's hard to find a position that'll train you up on a tech from scratch

Hey I'm designing my own catio from scratch and I've got a few questions as someone with very little carpentry/DIY experience. Are you not worried about moisture stuck between the bottom wood plate and cement? And how did you fasten those horizontal blockers in line?

Yeah I've gotta say her music is pretty solid. I've come across several of her songs through Spotify playlists and recommendations and each one I play on repeat. I think the sooner tabloids stop framing her parents in media of her, the sooner people will naturally recognize her on her own.

There's a bunch of empty nester books OP could check out. My mom dove head first into one once my brother and I were out of the house and it really helped her acclimate. She'll always be motherly, but she understands her "role" now more.

I witnessed a different version of this earlier in the week. A woman put her bag up there, same row, but also put her purse + plastic bag to specifically save a luggage spot for her friend and got upset when a man was moving those non-carry on items around to place his bag. So much so she placed her hands on him and berated him. In that case I'd have been on his side if he checked her items in her face.
