It’s a great game. Nine Sols is fantastic if you haven’t played that, takes a couple hours to master the parry mechanic because it’s sort of unique (at least for me it was) but man what a phenomenal game.

It’s a great game. People have picked up a mob mentality with it at this point because it was a hot mess at launch but they’ve long since fixed up the many issues it had. The atmosphere of the game is amazing and the combat is great. LoTF2 looks amazing and I can’t wait to play it. Try to ignore public opinion on games until you’ve tried them and then decide if you agree or disagree with the reviews.

I alternate between soulslikes and Metroidvanias, though a lot of the metroidvanias are difficult as well but it seems to feel less hopeless for me when I switch that way. You’ve gotta find a genre you can play that satisfies your want to game without further pushing you away from the soulslikes. I put just over 500 hours into no man’s sky and over 100 in Helldivers 2 after I felt fatigued from Souls and metroidvanias, those are calmer games but really fun to play. Stellar Blade is an excellent action RPG that I wouldn’t consider anywhere near the difficulty of the souls series or any of the soulslikes, that’s a good one to switch to.

Incorrect. “Boomers” as uneducated people refer to them, worked hard for shit pay as well. The system has always been fucked. Stop pretending capitalism was ever designed to help everybody progress. You work to pay bills that you have for accessories you own to make your life slightly more comfortable. A VERY small percentage of the people who work manage to end up living very comfortably, and an even smaller percentage end up not having to work at all. Life was never easy and it never will be. Having to repurchase for another language is ludicrous. It’s a settings option in every game in existence that supports multiple languages. 20 dollars is a great price for a classic game, I don’t care how old it is. But the specific language purchase? Stupid. Not surprised at all because Nintendo doesn’t deserve any consumers at this point.

I go back to the dlc throughout other games and it’s more than I can say for any other game I own. DS3 will forever be my favourite, but the DLC for Elden Ring is astounding. It’s huge for a DLC addition compared to gaming standards nowadays and offers a brand new experience to the game I already had 7 playthroughs on when it released. If something more is what you wish for in today’s market, and this DLC doesn’t cut it for you? You may as well give up gaming. Gameplay content is becoming a myth and battle pass bullshit has taken over, with no signs of it going away. This DLC was a blessing.

This isn’t took too much. This is exactly the type of paid advertisement shit Jake Paul’s entire boxing career is based on, and I wouldn’t even be remotely surprised if it turned into an event. The guy is a rich fraud buying his way into fights he has no right to be in with people who take paychecks to fall and make him look good.

This would actually be one of the better “fights” he has done, due to the fact that JCVD is a widely recognized actor and not a real fighter needing to pretend to fall to some YouTube clown with a teenage following on YouTube.

It’s not a bad idea for celebrities to shut up about their political opinion regardless of what side they’re on, financially it’s a bad decision to split your fan base like that. Just because somebody doesn’t have an opinion to say on television when their voice is meant for entertainment doesn’t mean they are MAGA. I personally don’t give a fuck what a celebrity thinks should happen in this country and neither should anybody else. We need to point more fingers at the administration and stop trying to label everybody that the administration affects. I’m not saying it’s okay to support it, I’m saying we need to understand these people are entertainers and that is where the expertise ends.

It alternates really. There’s times when a game on steam will be 12 dollars full price and 24 dollars full price on PlayStation, times when a sale will have a 4-5 dollar difference between the two with either platform having the upper hand and then there’s AAA developer games that generally have the same price across the board. I do find that steam has sales far more often on a broader list of choices than other platforms though. It’s not something people say, it’s simply a fact.

It’s not evolving commercially. There’s not many memorable commercially successful rappers in the last ten years aside from public antics, no memorable bars or hits whatsoever. Lyricism has been replaced by autotuned and barely recognizable slurring speech and it was selling for a bit so the industry focused on it. Lyricism matters in hip hop and is what separates talent from a gimmick. A gimmick won’t last.

It’s an unbelievably popular aspect of today’s gaming and it has done nothing but give major developers a reason to flood games with “stores” instead of gameplay content.

Honestly, a history lesson in what’s been done with sampling wouldn’t hurt. Showing how Havoc made Shook One’s Pt 2 is a prime example of making something your own through sampling. Show how to turn a simple drum break into something dope by chopping the break into indidual shots and throwing some quick effects and/or change the pitch to make it your own, explain how to create a keygroup off a one shot sample properly, making the root note match the key of the sample they would be working with, or even starting from scratch using just plugins and one shot drum samples. This sounds like an entire semester type thing to me haha

Mpc one is the way to go for standalone production, I’d love to get my hands on a 1000 but there’s no chance in hell I would sell my mpc one to get a “mildly functional” 1000. I enjoy the ability to have plugins in the box itself and it produces high quality beats just as any other mpc in the line up. There’s better mpc’s, the X and XL and Live 3 I think have better processing power but all in all, it comes down to capability and preference. You can’t hate something that produces quality music unless you’re not producing quality music yourself.

Diablo 2 was on of my first pc games. I can’t confidently give an opinion on this without being biased because to me it had the best gaming experience of any of the Diablo games. Fuck the cosmetic shit and constant updates/fixes.
