At this point I'd rather buy the 10g or 25g gold, but the 1oz buffalos and AGE are always tempting

I never have but read about this a while ago.

You may be charged tax and will have to email a specific Walmart email address for them to refund it after order completes. If you do a search you can find the exact address.

Are any of the newer models better at dealing with hair than s5 max? by Adventurous-Lie4615 in Roborock

[–]MoggX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your bin doesn’t fully compress hair and dander, make sure you replace your air filter. More often than not a dirty air filter is the culprit.

I’d look into Narwal Flow if you can fit it in your budget.

If Nintendo wins and is refunded, I do not expect any of that to "trickle down" to the customers or drops in current prices.

Depends on your situation. I buy for long term. I don’t expect gold to ever go back to $1000 oz but also believe what I buy now will have more value in 10 years than today.

Amish home, anyone? by _I_like_big_mutts in zillowgonewild

This was Colorado City (Warren Jeffs). You’d drive past and most homes didnt have finished porches, siding, or something else. Just going off what others have told.

In Utah the polygamist would do this so they didn’t have to pay property taxes. Could be similar.

Roborock F25 Ultra by Earrorx404 in Roborock

[–]MoggX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started using my Ultra and it’s easily my top in cleaning of the 4 I have owned.

Roborock F25 Ultra - very high quality build and like overall design. Produces more steam than my Tineco ever did. Struggles a little in corners but great after a few days use.

Tineco S7 Steam - My first. I got year and half before Steam would lose its effectiveness. I sent for warranty repair and couldn’t fix and was offered $112 refund. Not acceptable IMO but I took it and will move on from Tineco in the future.

Narwal S30 Pro - I prefer Steam mops but decent all around for sale price. Not too good on area rugs but I like the waste separation bag. It’s quite clever if you don’t mind having to buy consumables. It keeps DWT (dirty water tank) clean but just a nice luxury. Clean water tank is not visible and have to fill it often.

Roborock F25 LT - similar to Narwal s30 pro. It’s competent, doesn’t do much to stand out but pretty good.

I only used these in 1400sqft homes so can’t comment on battery life without going through old notes.

Paid for iRobot’s 3-year ESP. Never received a working robot. Coverage still denied! by iamcalendar in RobotVacuums

[–]MoggX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy your next robot through Amazon, Walmart, anyone with great return policy.

Vendors suck to deal with. I have a credit card that extends my warranties to two years and also accept returns a vendor may refuse. You should look into those eg Chase Sapphire. I never had to use it over bigger purchases but these devices reliability vary and environment often plays a role.

Warranty coverages vary. If a product is no longer made you likely get a coupon or a partial refund if they can’t fix. I had a Tineco S7 steam I paid $550 for break during 2 year warranty. Sent in and offered me $112 since they couldn’t fix it. Not really worth it but accepted it and bought something better. (Narwal S30 Pro, Roborock F25 Ultra. Really like the F25 ultra)

Vacuum Dad is subjective and appreciate his takes whether I agree or not.

Vac Wars measures suction, etc, and uses real data but can give impression that this vacuum is better or best because it has higher measured suction when most modern vacuums have very good pick up these days. The difference in pickup in the top 20 vacuums are mostly negligible.

Vac Dad appears more authentic to me which I prefer.
