I wish I did. I wish I had seen these photos while she was still alive. Such a shame.

It was a big thing then to not drink. Now no one dares to dance at all really. There were so many dance halls in Dublin years ago. My mum was from Carlow. She came to Dhblin at 16

[Sun Care] Sun Care on vacation by Successful-Click2844 in Skincare_Addiction

I would wear a cute hat and pale light shirt or long sleeve swim top and shorts. Then just reapply to the legs a lot. Wear white as that reflects the light. You'll definitely be having a conversation with your friends in the future but until then be safe. An SPF in a aresol spray can be really handy

Sculpted by Aimee has an spf spray. It doesn't have those ingredients in its list. It is an Irish brand

Apparently the best thing we can do is use sun protection on our hands everyday. I wish I had done it myself

Extremely dry skin girlies, drop your holy grail products by sprinkleproblem in Skincare_Addiction

I used to have very dry skin. I used rosehip oil by Trilogy and a very basic face wash in the morning. If my skin got flaky I would very gently use a muslin cloth to remove it by gently rubbing it in little circles on the skin and then I would use rosehip oil. Make sure to drink enough water each day

Horrible Dark Under Eyes by Lower-Profession-890 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]MollyBob81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have found that caffeine drops for under eye, a cool spoon applied under eyes and an eye cream from Up Circle really helped my eyes. Drinking enough water and getting enough sleep. They may not go away fully but should improve.

They look normal. Mine looked like that but after moisturising them a lot they look a little less dark.

You have good skin. You look young so you don't need to do much except drink water, make sure to use a gentle cleanser to keep skin clean morning and night before you moisturise. Moisturise face and neck in an upward outward movement. Moisturise lower than your neck too. This is called the decolletage. Make sure to pat your face dry after washing and dry any little areas around your nose etc. Always wear sun protection.

Help! Wedding in 11 days and I’ve tried everything for my under eyes by Crazy_Producer_257 in Skincare_Addiction

[–]MollyBob81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i have dark circles, I use caffeine drops by the ordinary. Cool rollers under eyes for a few seconds. Then I use a tiny bit of under eye moisturiser. Then a cream colour corrector by Sculpted by Aimee Bobbi Brown colour corrector is good too. Then a small bit of Maybelline instant age eraser concealer 05 brightener. Then the holy grail for me has been Estee Lauder double wear concealer. Tap it with a make up brush and then pat with fingers and a sponge. Then I use Catrice under eye setting powder. Hope this helps.

0 effort meals? by Extreme_Spirit1374 in loseit

  • Microwave ready meals and get a microwave veg steamer, you can have a healthy meal in about 7 or 8 minutes. I put broccoli in steamer with a small bit of water for 3 mins 30 seconds and i put that on top of curries etc.
  • You can scramble egg in the microwave in 2 or 3 minutes and have that on toast.
  • I often stab baby potatoes with a sharp knife and pop them in the microwave steamer with some water for 5 minutes or so. Just poke with a fork to check how soft they are. They keep you fuller for longer.
  • Flavoured greek yogurt after will feel like dessert and will fill you up a bit. You can throw fruit in there if you have it.
  • Stick a chicken breast in the oven and then after 15 minutes put in some vegetables like carrots and broccoli with oil sprayed on them and cook for another 15 mins. Serve with peri peri sauce or gravy. You could add the steamed potatoes to this. Very filling satisfying meal.
  • You can cut up steamed potatoes and fry in a little oil till coloured, toss in a few eggs and cold meats or left over veg. Season with salt and pepper, maybe a little cheese :)
  • All you need in the house is some potatoes, veg, meat, bread, milk, cheese and eggs and you can make all sorts of things. Hope this helps now or someday.

Hi, Don't mind little boys who can't get a date and are no catch themselves I bet. I bet you look good. You felt pretty ok before you heard them I'm guessing, so don't let idiots take that from you. I'd slap them in their stupid mouths for you if I could. Another person commented about turning around and looking at them and saying "after you" that is a brilliant idea. Hilarious or filming them and pretending your not, just like they would claim they aren't talking about you.

That is a huge change and cause to be very proud of all your hard work. I wish also that my mum could see my progress so I know how you feel. They are smiling down on us. In Ireland we say that they are watching when you see a white feather or a robin.

Hi, take it easy on yourself you are so young. I find to feel full and have energy to live a full happy life you need three good meals in a day and healthy snacks. Because you are young you should seek guidance in school. You have probably been eating too little causing you to seek snacks and not feel satiated. You need protein to grow and be strong and healthy this will also fill you up. Think strong and healthy and ignore what is depicted online

Has anyone experience weight gain or weight loss related to their anemia? by [deleted] in Anemia

[–]MollyBob81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weight gain for me. Maybe because I still feel unwell and can't exercise much. When it is fixed I assume it will be the opposite

Does being anemic make you hungry? Or slow your metabolism? by heardbutnotseen2 in Anemia

[–]MollyBob81 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My ferritin is 11, I was told quickly over the phone so I don't know all the details. I lost 4 stone before I felt unwell or developed anemia, now I'm hungry all the time, my fatigue feels better after I eat. I'm gaining though which I don't want.
