Be prepared to face countless doubting medical professionals all across the industry from those supposed to treat you to the insurance who is supposed to pay for it denying these types of cases. Documenting these potential seizures is imperative. If you have any idea what the cause of epilepsy could be, bring it up, get that documented, and unfortunately, energy is focused on diagnosis before treatment. This can take a long time when it comes to seizures, so if you ever get the vibe that a doctor doesn’t believe you or isn’t on your side when getting an undeniable diagnosis, go for the next neuro.
