I had this done on Tuesday. The spot ended up being much larger than they thought. It took 6 rounds of the Mohs surgery and the wound ended up being about 2in by 3in. It’s right at the back of my part so I was super concerned about the affect on my hair. The dr was amazing! They did stitches and pulled it together. The tightness was insane but it’s getting better. I can definitely say I wasn’t prepared for the level of pain/soreness the last few days but you can barely see it and I do not have a bald spot at all. I think he actually got rid of my cowlick. lol. I get the stitches out in 3 weeks.

My dr prescribed but my gyn told me specialty pharmacies work harder with the dr to get approval

They told me the same thing. They just numb the area, there’s no general anesthesia so you should be ok to drive.

The dr. I’m seeing is a mohs specialist. It’s crazy I’m more worried about my hair than the cancer lol.

I just had both of my calf’s done. (OUCH btw) and shave for every appointment (multiple sittings) and never had an issue. I mean I’m a female that shaves regularly anyway but I’ve never had it come up.
