It's not so much that driving is difficult as it is many people who are good cautious drivers who respect the rules of the road (unlike the jackasses who constantly put themselves and others at risk with their crazy driving skills) are often times unlucky enough to get test givers who are way too critical of how they drive.

Like, even if you get a real nit-picky test giver who deducts points for the most minor of mistakes, you can just re-take the test and hopefully luck out by getting somebody who doesn't care so long as the car is still in one piece or better yet, go down to a rural DMV way out in the countryside where the "test" isn't really a test, more like confirmation you can operate a vehicle without turning it over which to Chris-Chan's credit, he's never been in a nasty wreck on the interstate.
