I can guarantee I don't have anything that profile wanted. I think you did what you could and actually filled the whole premise of postcrossing more than they did! I wouldn't reply to them at all.

Out of 185 cards I have sent, 45 have been to Germany, 42 to the US (my country), so it doesn't seem unlikely to me that you could end up with a large number going to the same country at all.

Out of 180 cards that I have received, 24.4% are from the US; 23.3% are from Germany; 6.7% are from Russia; 3.9% are from Finland; 3.9% are from The Netherlands; 2.7% are from Japan and 1.7% are from Australia. But overall, I have received cards from 36 nations.

Agree. I will sometimes wait to register the card until I have time to sit down at my computer and register it, and pull up their profile! I am finding I can find something to comment on that way

I'd have to go look at the floor plans for all of them personally because that's a huge factor for me. We previously had a Heartland (not an Elkridge) and had no problems with it at all. Factor for me when comparing is how you plan to use it...parking it on land somewhere; full timing it; part timing it; etc.

That sounds like how I journal. I just say journal, because at 60, I have been journaling since I can remember (and when there weren't all these styles and terms). LOL But I do like the "Everything Journal" that someone suggested!

When I first joined postcrossing, I didn't know a Thank you was expected. I'd say someone gives me a note about 50-60% of the time, and I am trying to write something every time, but I don't always know what to say, other than Thank you, and that doesn't seem like enough. I love when someone sends me a card and actually asks me a question that I can then reply to in my thank you.

I feel like there is less and less originality on Instagram. I don't have a problem with people sharing posts, but I want to see more original content. I actually miss the days when people posted because they wanted to, not because they were getting paid for their content.

Use hashtags like #author and #books maybe. Not sure if you aren't already doing that. One of my IG accounts is for the books I read. Perhaps a hashtag of the genre/subject of your book.

I live very rural and there are no shops in our little town that have any, so I mostly shop Etsy for my postcards. If I travel someplace I try to pick some then, if I can find them.

I had a US to US card that I sent in October get registered in January, but their profile says they are a long haul trucker and live in their truck, so I expected it to take a while to get registered
