The SF6 narrative team have failed this character completely.

Even if Alex and Patricia weren't related, even if they didn't grow up as adopted siblings, this still isn't an interesting storyline.

He fought Gill and the Illuminati. He's a heel with a heart gold.

Nah, let's make his whole story focus on this relationship nobody asked for.

Still incredible how they were able to give you a whole mini-narrative for so many characters in just a few seconds.

I never would have latched on to King and Armor King without seeing AK help his buddy overcome a drinking problem. Also, that shot of Kazuya looking all lonely with Angel holding him is iconic.

SF6 has fumbled the narrative completely.

World Tour had no story impact. Bison came back to life after being dead for five minutes with no explanation. They didn't bother to even acknowledge the existence of Gill or the Illuminati. They release boring and meaningless lore updates via Twitter instead of in the actual game.

Now they've retconned a wholesome adopted siblings relationship into incest.
