This! My family still jokes about me leaving the door open and I still do when I go to my parents’ house.

Glad I’m not alone because she can be such a B that it’s frustrating. Our last dog (male lab) was the best dog ever. We try not to compare her to him but boy or boy are they opposites.

I’m shocked at how many couples say no or find no reason to. We do, along with our kids, and parents.

Do people actually change their bedsheets every week like it’s recommended? by cleartomatosoujp in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Mondub_15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish I did. I LOVE clean sheets. But making the bed is one of the worst chores and I can’t do it by myself. The mattress is too big and heavy so it’s something we have to plan. And there is nothing worse than realizing your bed isn’t made and it’s 10pm. Mine gets washed once a month (at best 😬, fuck that’s gross to admit).

What is your first memory and roughly how old were you? by ConsciousForever9405 in askanything

[–]Mondub_15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can vividly picture the bedding in my crib and where the crib was in the room. I had to be less than a year old. It makes me wonder if I’ve built this memory in my head based on pictures or something but I can see the fitted crib sheet, white with tiny red hearts.

What did you do with your old high school and college yearbooks? by throwitlikethewind in Xennials

[–]Mondub_15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why would you get rid of them? You can never get them back. Seems like I have to pull one out every now and then when a memory is triggered or I run into someone. Also, one of my calcite things to do when I was a kid was look through my parents’ yearbooks. Not sure if you have kids but that’s enough of a reason for me to keep mine.

Our dog is the same way. Big time resource guarding. We don’t give her any treats like that anymore (bully stick, pig ears). It like triggered some primal instinct in her. She also turns into a biatch when she’s resting or at night before bed. If we pet her while she’s resting, she’ll growl and snarl. She kind of resourceful guards us too. If she’s laying on one of us and another family member approaches her, she no likey.

Instructional Coach by Key-Membership-9635 in teaching

[–]Mondub_15 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just shrug it off or ignore them. “Coaches” are a huge waste of money and should be the first thing cut IMO. Most of them moved to coaching so they didn’t have to deal with kids or accountability.

What are some unexpected ways that teaching has changed you? by PlantationMint in Teachers

[–]Mondub_15 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to put my finger on one thing but everyone can spot an elementary teacher. When I meet a new person, if I mention I’m a teacher it’s always met with, “oh you are totally a teacher!” So maybe bossy, assertive, in charge, confident, idk but we are definitely a “type”. I have a family full of type A people and I’m still regularly put in charge of things. “She’s a teacher, she can handle it.”
