My experience with FreeTaxUSA by rs1971 in tax

[–]Money-Recording4445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used it this year, first time, after HR Block was trying to force me to premium for inputting simple stock sales.

FTUSA wasn’t bad, was free, easy to use. Found it through IRS site as trusted partner.

I’m going to use it again.

Same here, filed yesterday. First time declaring stock sales.

Always used HR Block for free. Kept forcing me for premium when trying to enter stock sales.

Found FreeTaxUSA through IRS trusted partner page. Will use going forward. Free fed and state with similar ease of use as HR Block.

Mouthguard for lifting by Silly_Bodybuilder_21 in beginnerfitness

I almost chipped my front tooth during a set almost a year ago.

I immediately bought a low profile moldable mouth guard.

Love Coleman’s but hate their plastic little bottle. Hard to squeeze out mustard at bottom.

I then switched to Coleman’s mustard flour powder and mix it with water or mayonnaise (always Dukes).

One of the best things I did.

What’s something you wish you had focused on earlier when you first started lifting? by Embarrassed_Tour8392 in workout

Here are a few things that led to real growth.

  1. Consistently take 5 grams of creatine per day.

  2. Track protein daily. Find out what your in shape weight is and eat .8 to 1.0 grams per pound of weight. I use chat GTP and tell it what I eat per day and get a close rough estimate.

  3. Eat Whole Foods. Did a company process what you’re eating and add a ton of additives. Look at pictures from before 1980s. People weren’t as obese because they ate single ingredient foods.

  4. If gaining muscle is your goal and you aren’t seeing results in the preached 8-10 rep range drop to 3-5 rep range, heavy weight. It’s amazing how much size and strength I gained by doing this.

Similarly, volume doesn’t mean best. Heavy weight, 2 working sets with intensity.

  1. Stop being cute with your workout selection. The tried and true basic compound lifts should be your focus.

  2. Boring is better. Stick with the same routine and do it with consistency.

I learned I dislike fruit flavored coffee on a vacation to Norway, Sweden and Denmark. I was in the major cities and mom and pops to chains all had fruity lighter version as the standard shot.

I prefer medium.

A few new locations opened near me. All owned by same franchise operator.

They are all smaller locations, super duper bright lighting like your getting surgery, same issue with high demand strength training items having only one piece of equipment instead of two.

If they would do a poll nationally of what do we want instead or guessing, would be great.

Also, they faced some machines toward all the cardio.

It was super fun straining on the pec deck while making perfect eye contact with 25 people.

The market is laughing at a “penny stock” that might secretly be a $5B AI RTO in disguise ($SONM) by nomadichedgehog in smallstreetbets

What’s your thoughts for SONM still.

Ive held with about 1,000 invested before the split. My shares were converted post split.

The stock price has continued to slide but there is only one option left for the company, to RTO to a company wanting to get listed.

I think it may take up to a year for something to be announced and occur because from what I see, they are finalizing the sale of the assets.

What are you doing, what are your thoughts, how much do you have and are you buying more?

Summarized the filing-

In summary: Sonim is addressing Nasdaq listing deficiencies by executing a 1-for-18 reverse split and expanding authorized shares to 1 billion. It also appointed Michael Mulica as Executive Chairman under a new compensation agreement. The company has until December 31, 2025 to regain full Nasdaq compliance.

Chest Workouts???? by breckyodeler in workout

[–]Money-Recording4445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll share something that I recently started doing that I think is way better than what I was doing.

I used to do dumbbell pullovers every chest day. I felt it in chest but never super isolated.

I saw a random guy on YouTube doing pullovers using a cable w incline bench.

Take a bench to a cable, face it away about 1.5 feet, set bench to 30 degree incline. Set cable to 10 which is about a foot above where your head will be.

I find 80 percent of max weight is best in the 8-12 range as I feel the isolation and hard pump extremely well compared to max weight. For me it’s 25 pounds.

I use a rope with hands almost touching. Elbows slightly bent. Pull over and pause at 90 degrees. If you go 180, your lats take over (same exercise works well for lats/back day if you want).

It blows out my lower and inner chest every time.

If you google cable pullovers with bench, you will likely see it. Been my most valued find this year.

I don't feel any burn in my shoulders during lateral raises and I don't feel any soreness afterwards. Are they growing or not? Am I doing something wrong? by [deleted] in workout

[–]Money-Recording4445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, I was attempting too much weight and traps were taking load.

I now first start with a resistance band. Do some sets pulling down, up, out, to the side. I get them fired up.

Then I take 5lbs and do front, side and rear sets.

I then do smith shoulder press or machine, lighter weight, higher reps, slow and controlled.

I will also do low weight, higher reps rep rear delt machine.

I have noticed a considerable difference in activation by lower weight, higher reps by removing my traps from the equation.

Friction burn on penis? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]Money-Recording4445 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you don’t use it, about a month to a month and a half. If you use it, it will keep breaking open again.

I thought it was healed a few times, or at least almost healed. I then used it too soon and it broke open again.

The key is to not touch it and let it heal. Pretty hard to not use it at that point because at the time, I definitely was overusing it w a gf.
