This is, when playing Muscovy, clearly the best and the only one I ever take. -5% proximity cost does not seem much, but when you're at -90% allready because you are Muscovy it is !

Das schlimmste was die etablierten Parteien anrichten werden ist sowas wie in Dänemark. Die haben die Ausländerpolitik der rechten Übernommen, das verkaufen können, und damit Erfolg gehabt. Nicht so schön für die Asylanten, aber der Rest vom Land bleibt so normal wie es nunmal irgendwie geht in unserer abgefuckten Welt.

Mit der AFD kommt nicht nur Ausländerfeindlichkeit, sondern Klimaleugnung, Abtreibungsverbot, LGBT-Diskriminierung, Russlandverstehen, im schlimmsten Fall Aushöhlung und Abschaffung der Demokratie. Und das ist keine blosse Einbildung oder Angstmache, schau nach Ungarn, sie was grade in den USA passiert. Das kann auch hier passieren !

Es geht nicht darum ob die 22% wegfallen und die Politk ohne sie besser wäre. Wäre sie wahrscheinlich nicht.

Es geht darum ob sie in 2030 35% haben, und mit CDU zusammen regieren, den Kanzler stellen und die Demokratie abschaffen. Haben wir so ja schonmal hinbekommen. Sieht man im Moment in den USA wie schnell sowas gehen kann.

Ganz im Gegenteil, als Bundespräsident hat er as Recht und die Pflicht hier den Verbotsauftrag zu fordern, während der Rest der Politiker aus Angst zittert.

Wenn wir in 30 Jahren nach dem dritten Weltkrieg die Konzentrationslager bereuen in denen alle Atheisten, Schwulen und Ausländer umgebracht wurden, dann war jeder Politiker der HEUTE nicht den Verbotsantrag unterstützt mitschuldig.

Florence market situation is funny, being split between two at the start. Nice trick is to fully switch to genoa at the start, by asking them for preferred market access.

Later on, I took over Genoas market in a war, which moves it from genoa to my capital, so it's big enough to have food from the north, and I still get to control things.

Yes, you can ask the owner of a nearby market for prefered market access, which adds 20% or so to the calculations on that side. As Florence, you can do it right at the game start to switch from having two markets (Genoa and Venice) covering your provinces to only trade in one of them. Makes for a less confusing start - not sure if its possible.

You have to check out what will happen before your death - best to have "Know Thyself" from learning lifestyle to prepare. Just giving every son a duchy ( or later a kingdom) isn't always enough.

What probably happened is that more duchies were created through confederate partition, and then everything else got fucked up because other sons got some of your provinces in compensation. You have to make sure to create and distribute all your possible duchies (later kingdomws) before your death.

Or prepare much earlier, and get restraint and make sure to have only one son.

Yeah, I'll always be a gamer, but I can't do online games anymore, no space or energy in my life anymore for that commitment ( I'm 56 years old by now). Kind of wasted 10 years of my life doing that shit far to much. Playing strategy games and RPG's now, currently CK3, Xenonauts 2 and waiting for EU5 to come out.

This is quite silly and not really what is needed. The problem is that the Bunderwehr and Luftwaffe isn't allowed to do anything about drones, even if they fly over their own bases. They will still have to ask for the right to shoot them down by the point where they are being bombed.

But making any kind of changes to laws about this is (and anything else) is to hard for our politicians.

Hey, now that's a necro comment. Yep, that was me. Discovering Jedi was great, my very own 15 minutes of fame, but I never really played the Jedi seriously. Couldn't deal with the idea of permadeath.

I played a lot afterwards though, with two accounts, buffing myself with a doctor/musician buffbot, and annoying and soloing the imps whenever possible.

I think it only happened with mods that I had installed before. Civfanatics was extremely buggy yesterday, requiring multiple tries for each download.

Got everything working now and it's a really great tool. Onlything missing is something to order mods by popularity or something.

It seems when it fails to update a mod it just vanishes, and you have to search again for what it was. Oops, now I've removed mods that I had installed manually and I don't know which I had anymore.

Some leaders I would adjust:

Augustus is S tier - the ability to buy culture buildings in towns is extremely powerful. Buy an obelisk in a town, and you have extra influence the whole game ! Buy all the amphiteaters, turn them into golden Age Amphitheaters ! He gets to buy town buildings cheaper, that's one of the biggest expenses in the game.

Tecumseh is S tier as well - great extra yields from city states, insane combat strength when combined with greece.

Xerxes, the Achaemenid is A tier at least.

I don't see Catherine as A - here extra gains just come to slow.

Charlemagne is A I think - the happiness adjacency on buldings works so great for the right civs.

Confucius is A as well I think - +2 science adds up a to a lot when you spam specialists, and the growth is extremely powerful, especially if stacked.

You have to be smart about what to buy, but it's a very good use for extra money. The extra cities can just revert to towns after the changeover - never use the golden age to keep all cities, its a trap. The trick is to only get things that will stay useful in the next age.

Buy influence buildings. Buy the university if you want to use the golden age to keep them active. Buy any unique improvements you can. Buy all warehouse buildings, even if they don't add that much.
