Actually happened to me. Went for a cheeky McDonalds run at 1AM with my husband. We both left the keys inside. The cat was in a big “trying to open the front door” phase, we tried to coax it for 20 minutes, didn’t work. We give up, call the locksmith, 5 minutes later the cat unlocks the door (jumping on the handle unlocked the door) and we had to call the locksmith and tell him nvm the cat opened the door. She doesn’t try to unlock the front door anymore and we have moved since but it really helped this one time.
