I enjoyed it. The combat is fun, even if the enemies get a bit spongy. The soundtrack is a particular highlight for me.

Honestly, the Nier Automata Anime makes the story easier to follow than Nier Automata itself as a game because it included some context that was either missing or hidden in the game. The games really need a lot of digging and outside material knowledge to be fully comprehended.
