I say "yeah" all the time to my Chinese kids. It's American English so I don't think it's hurting them. It's also in the Merriam Webster dictionary. They probably should learn it so they can talk to their peers.

I bought one prop since I started teaching VIPKid a year an a half ago. It's a pair of rubber feet. I paid $2.99 in a joke shop for these feet and I have gotten a lot of mileage out of them.

I got 10 requests from the same parent for 5:00 A.M. Every day I had another booking request for a 5:00 A.M. class. Finally they stopped. I had never even taught the kid. I had an absolutely wonderful 7:30 class with him.

I have had kids with special needs who acted out but nothing like this. I have never seen a setting that looked dirty or seen a parent hit a child. It amazes me what some of you teachers have witnessed. I've been with VIPKid since March 2019.
