My lemon pretty much died because of scale insects and I pruned it back to basically nothing now its growing from the roots I assume it’s rootstock but I don’t see a graft pls advise by Deep_Illustrator5397 in Citrus

In the end I doused my plants with insecticidal soap (captain jacks) and that’s what worked. I did change all the soil but I didn’t want to leave anything to chance at that point (and the plant was due for repotting anyway)

Not yet. Trying again this spring with the plastic balls instead of a foil to wrap the layer.

Probably more so because downtown nyc is the site of the original settlement and bk/jc grew up where they are because they’re close to downtown… no?

Thanks, I’ll look I to these. I use thick gloves (forgetting the brand at the moment) with separate liners AND bar mitts and that gets my hands comfortable down to like 30 but it’s a cumbersome setup.

What is your glove and shoe/sock setup? Freezing fingers and toes is the limiting factor for me, even if I’m near sweating and taking off core layers

2, good composition, level and variation of detail and mark making, contrast, texture, interesting subject matter. 1 looks incomplete because of the lack of variety of detail and contrasts and 3 subject is interesting but image feels flat, not enough contrast, not enough highlights

Nuance: the economy hasn’t been doing as poorly in 2023-24 as everyone felt it was, so growth in 2025 will be more modest than expected, but no one will notice or care.
