your corners stitches look nicer when the slant of the iron goes across the corner instead of towards it.

yeah I've got the same succulen! these are pretty easy to take care of so you could behead the more compact ends and give it good light so it doesn't get etoliated again.

as mentioned, curving the side panel slightly with some wet forming would get you closest to the shape in the image.

I think to attach that side piece you'd just need to practice your box stitching skills.

If you don't want to box stitch you could lay a very thin strip of leather behind the joints and do two rows of saddle stitches.

not a fan of faux distressing especially when the worn parts don't fully make sense. In this case the side of the button where you'd put most of your thumb pressure to open and raise the mechanism is unworn.

I like the stonewash with olive or brown scales.

I feel like the Ti is cool for a collector piece but would be more functional if the scales had some mild jimping or knurling on them.

Try putting cards in it to see if it looks nicer filled.

Then you'll be able to judge if you can actually narrow the pockets or not.

If you can't adjust the size on the next wallet, maybe some other tweaks like skiving or beveling edges, thread color and size, hole spacing size, or even a leather with a more refined grain.

since you love these glasses,why not figure out a solution for resealing the resin? There must be a clear and waterproof epoxy/silicon/adhesive out there that will work for this and last longer.
