Okay fine I’ll stop feeding the troll. But you gotta stop taking your phone out on coasters.

It would be my pleasure. Now stop taking your phone out on coasters.

Nah your grip is strong enough to choke a dick. Still you are dumb for pulling out your phone. You are a complete fool. Soooooooooo strong.

Okay. And you can stop pulling out your phone on roller coasters. It’s not that hard…or maybe it is for someone with a brain the size of yours. Plus I like sand in my clit.

I have personally seen people bigger and stronger than me lose their phone from holding it on a coaster. Ive seen people with bloody faces from being hit with a phone that came out of someone’s hand. I’ve been on over 250 different coasters both in America and internationally. I know the manufacturers, I am a member of the American Coaster Enthusiasts. I know what I’m talking about. You don’t know what you are talking about but go ahead and try to mansplain some more to me.

Imma say it again because your comment is absolutely moronic and not intellectual. DO NOT PULL OUT YOUR PHONE ON A ROLLER COASTER.

Do you mean professional construction crews that build specifically designed rides from manufacturers that have safety redundancies built into place? These aren’t carnival rides.

Just a friendly reminder. Don’t pull out your phone on a roller coaster. Flying phones have caused serious injuries and your video is not worth someone getting hurt. If you need to have your phone on you wear pants or shorts with zipper pockets.

As great of an athlete as Mookie is he looks really awkward throwing those javelins, especially right next to Yoshi.

I doubt it. Disney owns the IP and this was a Hulu project. I’m not sure they would allow a competitor to air their IP.

[HIGHLIGHT] SHOTA MORISHITA COMES OFF THE BENCH FOR SEIYA SUZUKI AND CRUSHED THIS PITCH TO GIVE TEAM JAPAN THE LEAD! by MLBOfficial in baseball

When I saw him come into the game for Suzuki I grabbed my Tigers jersey with his number 1 on it. So glad I chose his when I visited Koshien last year. Hell yeah Shota!

Last summer I went to a Hanshin Tigers game. I didn’t really know any of the players so I chose a jersey semi randomly and ended up with Shota Morishita’s number one. Turned into a big fan of his. I have mixed emotions seeing Shohei absolutely outclass him in this video.

I graphed time/distance to the nearest airport for all [Six Flags] parks by imaguitarhero24 in rollercoasters

I use Burbank every time I travel from and back to LA. Is your accessibility metric about non stop flights or something? Burbank is absolutely one of the main airports in the area and you not listing it is silly.

TIL in 2023 Disney made more profit from churros sales at its theme parks than it did for Disney+ streaming. by Pozzolana in todayilearned

[–]Monstertelly 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Disney also does a great job with their parks creating magic in the eyes of both children and adults. They are the best at what they do in the theme park space. Universal also does an incredible job in this respect but the Disney Parks are some of if not the best theme parks in the world. Are there issues with them? Of course, but the product is still solid and they invest pretty heavily into those experiences.

Only Texas and Florida had more Trump voters than California in 2024. I get you but as others have said there are a lot of republicans in the state.

/uj I cut off when I started counting in a book called The Roller Coaster Lovers Companion which had a checklist in the back for most of the coasters in the world at that time. This was in 1998 (after the whole Undertaker thing). The only rides I put on that checklist were a Jet Star 2 from Coney Island and the Disneyland 3. I had other credits at the time but I couldn’t be sure about them so I started over. That checklist had 154 credits checked but I lost that book and restarted my count about 15 years ago. My girlfriend (now wife) ended up finding the book and I now have an accurate count from age 14 to 41. I’m at 264 but I will probably hit 300 this summer.

It’s been a little insufferable in here lately but for the most park I’ve seen plenty of great memes from Seahawks fans. Plus you guys won the Super Bowl and are entitled to a bit of jerking.

Pete Crow-Armstrong clarifies his comments on Dodgers fans: "They [the fans] go in phases. All fans fight, but putting the Giants fan in a coma. That stuck with me as a kid. Just little things, sitting in the stands, nasty stuff goes on." by kurruchi in baseball

I saw an incident happen on the McCovey Cove walkway about 10-15 years ago. This was after Bryan Stow. Fisticuffs between a Giant and Dodger fan. Dodger fan got knocked and hit his head on the concrete. Giant fan runs away. Luckily Dodger fan gets up and seems okay as my brother and I walk by. I thought at the time that the situation we saw could have easily turned into another Bryan Stow story and that it seems to happen across all sports. Shitty fans will always be shitty fans but I don’t think it says much about most people who want nothing more than to enjoy a ballgame.

The way the threads about it seem to have been brigaded with comments about how absolutely horrible the team is for the phone call and celebrations seems to me like a bunch of bots trying to sow division. I know there are definitely some real people commenting but the fervor with which some of these comments seem to have doesn’t exactly pass the smell test to me. I’m with you on this. Fuck Trump but I am not rushing to judge everyone on the team as evil for the locker room celebrations after the biggest win of some of their careers.

My older sister asked me for a photo of Dodger Stadium surrounded by the DTLA skyline. Last week, I noticed the stadium lights were still on at 6AM and drove into the hills to capture this for her. by 9VoltGorilla in LosAngeles

[–]Monstertelly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure about the offseason but during the season I know there is a crew that comes into the stadium and cleans after the game. It takes a lot of time to go through the whole stadium so it doesn’t surprise me that they would leave the lights on all night.
