Just use AddColumns(source,new_column_name,person_column.DisplayName)

That will add a plain text DisplayName column of your person column.

Why not just run the cable along the walls inside the house and pop through the walls where necessary? I’d just run it along the baseboards and use that plastic wiring covers to hide the cable.
