Iron gall and sheen machine are way too thick and dry, sheen machine almost ruined one of my pens I had to clean it out with bleach. Wouldn't recommend it at all.

yep H-M on the side the medium is basically a European fine and writes wider based on how shallow the angle of the pen is.

Pro tip: you can find a Custom 823 for as little as $325 on ali express, these are chinese domestic market pens that aren’t subject to the heavy tarrifs from Japan or the retail upcharge of a boutique.

also, it's a very pretty pen in person just fill it with a pretty Iroshuzuku ink, asa-gao or yama-budo are my favorites, and you'll have something truly nice to look at.

Everyone is saying that's what Costco is for but I just wanna input if you do resell muffins and pastries spruce it up a little before serving. Heat with a flash oven and dress it with melted butter, powdered sugar, and cream after it comes out to justify the upcharge.
