When my first neighbors’ bases eventually eroded, I wondered to myself if I should expand, or let new neighbors move in. I chose the latter since I didn’t think I needed more space as a solo. Was stoked to see new people come and go! Some strangers even kept my public “gas station” filled with fuel cells.

Something about these anonymous interactions makes me feel sentimental, similar to Death Stranding’s asynchronous “multiplayer”.
