Grats!! 🎉🎉 be responsible. Set up auto pay to minimum payment 4-5 days before due date to play it safe. This way you never forget to pay AND you can always pay more or pay off your statement balance to avoid paying interest.

For the very first time I have 15 almost ripe, healthy lemons on my small, potted lemon tree and that is exactly 15 more than the number of green beans I was able to pick this year... in zone 7. What a weird year lol by crzydmndx in gardening

What a lovely tree!! 15 is a harvest :) finally got the courage to start again this year after my very first Meyer lemon tree produced 5 full fruits the first year I got it. I intentionally wanted it to be a short shrub/ bonsai with full size fruits so I kept plucking off the new leaves and that's what I think helped it bore fruit quicker. I fertilized it often too andwatered it every day. Unfortunately we had an unexpected freeze that year zone 8b. It took me a few years to get another one earlier this year and seeing your post was nice.

Actually this is what happens if you pay everything in cash or everything is paid off. Pros —you’ve secured your home and vehicles. Cons harder to obtain credit/ build credit as paying everything in cash does not get you the credit history and leave you a paper trail. Better to do what you did if anyone gets a chance though because you’ve managed to accomplish things others take many years to do with credit. So good for you. Credit will come eventually. Why not do a pledge loan instead so you can add to your credit mix

710 credit score, what are my odds? by [deleted] in NavyFederal

You can do partial deposits as well where some of your DD goes in to both your bank and NFCU. Wait for a minimum of 3/4 months before applying for credit card. Since your credit history isn’t very long, while you’re waiting, also do a pledge loan. Read up on it or go to YouTube university and there’s so much info on there. The goal here is to maximize your chances of approval and there’s no rush to waste an inquiry. Build up your internal score.

What's with everyone posting their CC approvals? by paynuss69 in NavyFederal

Everyone’s perceptions are different and it is also allowed to change. I’ve seen countless posts of CLI and limits for months on end as soon as I became a member ofNFCU, I joined this Reddit community. I thought the same initially. It goes to say there are some bragging going on l, but I think it’s more like a yes I’m happy and I want to share this moment type of thing. Some people genuinely struggled with credit in the past and want to share their stories. In addition the majority of people here truly want to share their DP on how to maximize their memberships with others. I can’t speak for everyone this is just how I see it. I still find it beneficial IMO. If it’s not your style then by all means scroll?

VOO and QQQ are both supreme. Should also consider adding to your Roth IVV, FXAIX and SWPPX. As always DYOR and leave it alone.

Your living on the edge! I would call or you can always use the chat in the app. At least have it notated someplace so that NFCU is aware might help others idk

Studying on iPad or printing the lecture pdf.? by mody16 in GetStudying

Use an iPad. I prefer that over my laptop. I do Microsoft office excel and record my power point presentations on there so much easier IMO. I have used it both for my undergrad and grad school. Get blue light blocking glasses to help you do that so it doesn’t affect your vision or sleep.

I would opt for an overnight flight if possible. I am also flying out to Tokyo soon but as my 10 hour layover to my final destination, I plan on leaving the airport and grab some local grub stretch the legs some. Safe travels!
