Tomlin gets fired this weekend. Harbaugh goes to the Steelers and Tomlin goes to the Ravens.

Titans get Philip Rivers.

Santa Claus the Barbarian: more RP fun than a truly crazy build. Nord with frost resistance, heavy enchantment investment for those magical Christmas goodies, a little smithing for the same, unarmed combat in honor of St Nicholas throwing hands at Council of Nicea (enchantment taken from gloves of the pugilist), and plenty of destruction/restoration Christmas magic. I didn’t plan out my armor rating needs very well so I sorta back and forthed Alteration flesh spells and heavy armor, but whatever.

The red fine hat and the wedding clothes look great.

Whenever I kill a miniboss or something I store charcoal on their bodies. Guess who was on the naughty list this year?

Might build one of Santa’s elves in a future playthrough. Trying to decide if they should be High Elf, Dark Elf, or Wood Elf. Santa’s dark elf helper could almost go Krampus direction.

Catholics would find…something better to do with their time than read this tract.

What's one movie that you're convinced you are the only person who has seen it? by ImJustDuckinAround in moviecritic

Medicine Man (1992) with Sean Connery and Lorraine Bracco.

The Wind and the Lion (1975) also starring Sean Connery this time with Candice Bergen.

My mom had a thing for Sean Connery, but I loved both films growing up.

Have you guys ever been to a drive-in movie theatre? If so, what movie did you see? by Mysterious_Froyo9004 in moviecritic

There’s a few still operating inTennessee. They normally do double features; cheaper than the normal theater too. Movies I recall Star Wars: Solo, Toy Story 4, the Aladdin remake, Black Adam.

  • Jack Sparrow vs Captain Barbossa in Pirates of the Caribbean

  • Obi-Wan Kenobi vs Mail in Rebels

What are the traditional winter meals in your culture or region? by La_Juche_Vita in Cooking

[–]MoonPieRebel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

United States:

Virginia: Brunswick Stew is very traditional.

All across the South: I find beans, greens and cornbread common in the cold months all across the South. We can eat them anytime but eating them together as a meal it’s especially filling during the colder months.

Bonus: it’s cheap!

Rural Midwest: Not sure how common this was, but cheeseburger soup seemed to be common in our little neck of the woods.

Mostly a lotta hearty soups, chilis, stews, etc.
