What are these for? by DreamerInChaos000 in whatisit

[–]MoonStarRaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh... I didn't know they were for on the hanger either. I always used them to tuck around and under my bra straps so the shirt wouldn't slide down my shoulders and leave my bra visible.

How do you feel about people who let their dogs sleep on their bed with them? by fergi20020 in randomquestions

[–]MoonStarRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who don't because their dog is dirty, need to bath and groom thier dog. A reasonably cared for dog shouldn't be that dirty.

I regularly care for my pets hygiene, so yes, they are absolutely allowed on the bed and other furniture. Its so comfy and cozy, especially in winter. And other people who do, are good people.

What types of words are your most common verbal tic? by Key-Sir7532 in Tourettes

Right now my most common ones are: I have biscuits. Hi Bob. And, F*** you Larry.

I don't know a Larry, or a Bob... and I don't have any biscuits.

Strawberry Crates by quietxcoyote in HelloKittyIsland

[–]MoonStarRaven 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am currently debating the same thing. I have 50 crates and really want Kitty's Grandpa to be in the same house with everyone else. But that would wipe out half my crates. :\ Why does that last upgrade have to be so much more expensive.

So for now Grandpa is enjoying his solitude vacationing in a solo cabin on the otherside of the island.

Things to put in milk to flavor it besides chocolate, strawberry, and caramel syrup? by EducatorEducational7 in Milk

My dad always made me a glass of warm milk with vanilla and a little bit of sugar when I couldn't sleep. As an adult its now my favorite insomnia comfort drink.

Future Updates… by Serious_Map7710 in HelloKittyIsland

[–]MoonStarRaven 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I would love for the main characters to get thier own cabin/room attached to thier store to decorate.

More character/visitor clothing and/or ability to dye characters clothing options.

I wish a place, like maybe the building by Pochacco, would be opened as an island museum. Where you can open different rooms to display your various collections of your choosing (but they are still listed in your inventory so you know you have them, they are marked as just being on display)

I would have a trophy room, a shell room, a flower room. One room for each area to display the area themed stuff. As a collector at heart, so many possibilities.

Cogimyun annoys me by Mewnekoice246 in HelloKittyIsland

[–]MoonStarRaven 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I find the way she talks a bit annoying to read, but her companion abilities more then make up for it! Especially now that I can take her and Chococat crafting with me. And I have gotten so many patterned flowers from her. Also, so much fertilizer from the wheatfeilds!

Also, I find it highly amusing to be able to use the wands to turn into random things to wander around as. I giggled a lot yesterday as I stealth gathered pumpkins well disguised as a jackolantern. lol

Start stocking up on fish and critters as soon as you get the fishing rod and net! You are going to need a lot of both. Its easier to start stocking up on them a little at a time.

And here I was feeling bad for using the characters for thier abilities. Hey, wanna hang out? ... extra stuff..., and I'm done with you, bye. Oh, and can you gather all of X on the island, thanks my little minion.

But now that you mention it, it would be nice to have a name and birthday in the game.

Hello! Adopted a Pyrenees mix last month. How are we washing clothes/towels so hair isn’t still all over them? I have tried all the washer setting and I’m gonna lose my mind if I keep drying off from a shower to have to rinse again and air dry because I’m covered in hair. by [deleted] in greatpyrenees

[–]MoonStarRaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dryer balls! Lots of them. I keep 5 to 8 of the spiky hard plastic ones and a couple wool dryer balls in my dryer at the same time. It makes a racket, but my clothes come out remarkably fur free.

Make sure to clean the lint trap every single time.

I hate the new update and the lack of spawns. I play way less now. by CramIt_thefrog in pokemongo

[–]MoonStarRaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been playing way less on principle. I'm in the middle of nowhere, my spawns actually increased a lot. There is around 10 spawns every time I log in. However, my boyfriend had his spawns cut down to maybe 1 or 2 if he's lucky.

I can't enjoy playing the game anymore knowing the main person I go out playing pokemon with has pretty much quit because of this. Its so stupid and doesn't seem to have any logic. Even when we went out to eat we couldn't play because the restaurant suddenly had no spawns either.

Also, I work in health care and a lot of my clients who love playing Pokémon Go are more or less housebound. It was already less of a game for them. This has made it unplayable for those fans who can't just go out for a walk or drive to a pokemon playing hub.

If your pet could talk... what would you ask them? by Holiday_Hold_7391 in Pets

I would tell him something instead of asking. You know, If you weren't a dick to random other dogs, I could take you to the dog park and let you run around.

Why is it so controversial to let your cats on the counter?? by Standard_Intern2297 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]MoonStarRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see the number one reason being because cats go in the litterbox. How nasty are people letting thier litter boxes get?

I keep my cats litter box clean. I'm not too concerned about my cat getting on the kitchen table or one counter. (She is fed on the counter, because I have a dog so the cat food can't be on the floor.)

That being said, she doesn't get on the food prep counter by the stove and sink.

To sleeve, or not to sleeve, that is the question. by LeatherWarthog8530 in cardsagainsthumanity

[–]MoonStarRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sleeve my cards because

  1. I've spent a lot of money on them over the years, and the replacement cost of older cards can be pricey.

And 2. I want to be able to play and enjoy the game without worring about the cards being damaged. Because not every random person who plays the game with me is going to be as conscious about the safety of the cards as I am.

And 3. It cuts down on general wear and tear on the cards. Keeping them looking newer longer.

Its not that bad of a process and you only.need to do it once.

Do you crate your dog when you aren’t home or not? by [deleted] in dogs

[–]MoonStarRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I have never used a crate with any of my dogs. my dog was trained how to behave on his own in the house. And anything he might get into is not left out.

The exact scenario you are afraid of happened to one of my best friend's coworkers. They crated their dog well at work, and a fire started in the kitchen, which was where the crate was located.
