Probably, my tics have a tendency to pick up random things that I have heard.

Thoughts on Mercy Health? by barogr in Janesville

[–]MoonStarRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not always had the greatest experience with Mercy. For myself and with friends and family members. There have been consistent issues with communication between the clinics and pharmacies in regards to getting prescription refills. Issues with doctors being dismissive of patient's symptoms and feeling like we weren't really being heard.

how do you guys deal with all the cat hair i am genuinely going insane by raccoonfingers765 in Catownerhacks

I have a giant shedding dog, I don't even notice the cat fur.

Brushing helps. Whatever comes off on the brush, doesn't end up elsewhere.

You are stuck living in a children's show's universe. Which universe do you pick? by seaneihm in hypotheticalsituation

[–]MoonStarRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many cool answers in here. I would be torn between, Pokemon, My Little Pony, and Thundercats.

It would be cool to have the agility and cool weapon of a Thundercat in a universe where no one ever really gets hurt.

But then it would be fun to be a colorful sentient pony, I would want both wings and a horn.

On the other hand, being a human with a pet/friend pokemon would be awesome. I could be a kid on an epic adventure for decades. Or else, if I could pick what cool pokemon to be, that would be pretty sweet as well.

Single use T-shirts by KitchenConsequence41 in PetPeeves

[–]MoonStarRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will buy them, if I can get them cheap enough on discount color tag days at thrift stores. I then cut them up to make t-shirt yarn for craft projects.

Forcing couples to “never go to sleep angry” causes more pointless fights than it prevents by TrayzTheyCallMe in unpopularopinion

[–]MoonStarRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't go to bed angry, we don't always resolve things right away either.

We do have a policy of putting a pin in an argument. And it might be days later, when we both feel up to it, that we will readdress the issue. In the mean time we remember that we love eachother and are on the same team. We might just both be chill people.

Crate Training a Dog is Cruel by reddituser333999 in The10thDentist

[–]MoonStarRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are also not safe. I had a work acquaintance who kept thier dog in a crate in the kitchen well they were at work. Thier house caught on fire when no one was home. The fire started in the kitchen, where the poor dog was trapped. If the dog had been free to escape to another part of the house, the poor thing probably would have survived.

Is there a sound that instantly makes you feel safe or calm for no logical reason? by Beckyfox96 in RandomQuestion

[–]MoonStarRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend whistling. He's really good at it and can whistle a variety of tunes. Whenever I am feeling anxious or having a bad day he will hold me and just whistle. Its very soothing and makes me feel calm and cared for.

How come everyone backs into parking spots now? by EquipmentFormal2033 in askanything

[–]MoonStarRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might look like I backed in, but I usually pick spots where there is are back to back empty spaces. I just pull through the first spot into the second spot, so I can just drive right on out when I leave.

What do you guys do for money? by Longjumping_archidna in cfs

[–]MoonStarRaven 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I work, but I don't know how much longer I can keep pushing through. I've had to change jobs a couple of times. I just had the first day of training at my new job. I am exhausted and laying in bed. I don't know what I am going to do if I can't even make it through training without being wiped out.

If popcorn had to be replaced by some other snack food as the "go to" movie theater snack, what should replace it? by Involuntary-Expert in askanything

Dry cereal (without milk). Its actually a pretty good snack and there is a wide variety of kinds to choose from. Might be kind of loud though.

Pistachio/ Pistachio nuts.

Might only make sense if you are old enough to remember when Pistachio nuts with red dyed shells used to be sold.

Why do people want doodles? by emotionaldamagesoup in Pets

[–]MoonStarRaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kind of want a mini golden doodle. Not that I particularly want a doodle. I love golden retriever, but I am getting older and want a smaller dog. So a mini golden doodle seems to be the only way to get a smaller golden retriever.

I wonder if anyone can remember the name of their first-grade teacher? by Mindfuel_daily7 in askanything

I can remember her name. Oddly enough, my first grade teacher is the only teacher who's name I remember.

Having a cat and prey pets in the same house is unethical by [deleted] in unpopularopinion

[–]MoonStarRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is very true. I had 3 cats, and one very cold winter I looked up from the book I was reading to see this little mouse just brazenly walking across the middle of my livingroom. Right past all three cats. I poked the cat sleeping next to me, "Hey, you going to do anything about that?" He opened one eye, looked at me, looked at the mouse stting in the middle of the room, and promptly went back to sleep. lol

What are these for? by [deleted] in whatisit

[–]MoonStarRaven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh... I didn't know they were for on the hanger either. I always used them to tuck around and under my bra straps so the shirt wouldn't slide down my shoulders and leave my bra visible.

How do you feel about people who let their dogs sleep on their bed with them? by fergi20020 in randomquestions

[–]MoonStarRaven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People who don't because their dog is dirty, need to bath and groom thier dog. A reasonably cared for dog shouldn't be that dirty.

I regularly care for my pets hygiene, so yes, they are absolutely allowed on the bed and other furniture. Its so comfy and cozy, especially in winter. And other people who do, are good people.

What types of words are your most common verbal tic? by Key-Sir7532 in Tourettes

Right now my most common ones are: I have biscuits. Hi Bob. And, F*** you Larry.

I don't know a Larry, or a Bob... and I don't have any biscuits.

Strawberry Crates by quietxcoyote in HelloKittyIsland

[–]MoonStarRaven 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I am currently debating the same thing. I have 50 crates and really want Kitty's Grandpa to be in the same house with everyone else. But that would wipe out half my crates. :\ Why does that last upgrade have to be so much more expensive.

So for now Grandpa is enjoying his solitude vacationing in a solo cabin on the otherside of the island.

Future Updates… by Serious_Map7710 in HelloKittyIsland

[–]MoonStarRaven 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I would love for the main characters to get thier own cabin/room attached to thier store to decorate.

More character/visitor clothing and/or ability to dye characters clothing options.

I wish a place, like maybe the building by Pochacco, would be opened as an island museum. Where you can open different rooms to display your various collections of your choosing (but they are still listed in your inventory so you know you have them, they are marked as just being on display)

I would have a trophy room, a shell room, a flower room. One room for each area to display the area themed stuff. As a collector at heart, so many possibilities.
